Maybe its our fault as fans but it just seems like the music is just isn't there in nicknames anymore. I cant remember the last time I heard somebody knight a new player and think , damn...that's a good *** nickname. Maybe I'm missing somebody...

Nicknames have never been cool, even the ones we look back as great nicknames sound childish and corny when you think about it.

On other news, I haven't seen Napier play in a game before but based on this scouting video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4ZymR0_hpw) as well as various YouTube clips, he has very similar traits and comparisons to a Mario Chalmers but with better handles and can create his own shot. One of the struggles the Heat had was to contain the dribble penetration from quicker guards so hopefully Miami's defensive philosophy will help Napier out.

Napier played some really stingy defense in the tourney. If he can become a good defender at this level he should find himself a decent role in Miami.

Still have some hope Lowry will come, he's been rumored to have interest with the Heat for over a year now. If he does I see Chalmers being gone, which would give me mixed feelings and no one to consistently hate on lol.

I've watched Napier since pretty much day one. Guy is a fearless floor general with tons of heart. If he was honestly 4 inches taller and "wingspan wingspan wingspan" he would have been a lottery pick. He plays dogged defense and won't make those Chalmers boneheaded plays.

The day after feelings on Charlotte's draft night: very pleased

The more I look at Vonleh the more excited I am to have him in the lineup. I think he'll be a powerful guy off the bench and he could become a double-double guy with Big Al. Interior D should improve a good bit with him as well. I'm going to give Hairston the benefit of the doubt with his past legal issues and pull for him to rise up and overcome. I hope he becomes that athletic swing man the Hornets need who can shoot.

I would absolutely love the Hornets to sign Gordon Hayward. I think he's a complete player and with better pieces around him he'll get back to his 40% 3pt self.

I'd like to land Hayward, but I'm scared we'd have to overpay by quite a bit.

I respect shabazz a lot I think he will be a pretty decent guard offensively and as a floor general. But his size and lack of strength against the strong athletic guards like Russell Westbrook will really hurt him defensively.

Yeah I think his legal issues weren't that big of a deal. I think the hornets probably had one of the best draft nights (they usually have very questionable drafts) I think P.J. Could be the dark horse of the draft because at UNC he had an insane motor the dude worked his butt off defensively. His offensive game needs work but as long as he continues to work hard he will be fine.

Yeah, I think Jazz will match whatever offer Hayward gets unless it's over $12M a year. Anything less than that we'll at the very least resign him and maybe look at a trade, though I'd like to keep him. His skill set is hard to find.
