Well the Spurs usually do it to sign guys like Danny Green to bigger deals or Dice or Finley. The Heat are doing it to sign guys like Melo, Lowry, Dirk if they got the chance. I'd say there's a slight difference there.

Those are just the guys we end up with, lol...if we were actually on any big name free agents destination list that door is wide open...

If Love happened to be serious about coming down here, R.C is definitely all over that..

And that's part of the problem. Nobody wants to go there apparently because they want to buddy up, but they wanna do it in LA or New York or Miami or Chicago.

Chicago would be a nice fit if they want to keep Gibson on the sixth-man role. Monroe has some nice skills and would fit in with Noah really well at the 4.

Otherwise I could see him go to New York or maybe even New Orleans if they have the cap space.

Does he have a mid range jumper? I haven't seen much of him TBH

Heh, no one wanted to come here before all these teams started "buddying up" either...our biggest free agent splash in the last 10 years was Richard Jefferson, lol

come on Love, we'd love to have you...

              Here is his shot chart:

Seems to shoot really well on the baseline but otherwise he looks pretty inconsistent on his jumper, though having Josh Smith and Andre Drummond in the frontcourt probably didn't help him space the floor out at all.

Dwayne Wade has apparently opted out. Bosh I bet will soon follow. James isn't going anywhere.

You're making my point for me man. Nobody wants to come there and they're taking paycuts knowing that LeBron or Melo or Kobe or Dirk or whoever doesn't want to come there, so they're taking cuts to keep guys and bring in smaller named players who fit the system to get better. Cool. That's a little bit different than taking paycuts to fit every star in the league on one team like some bogus MyTeam or Ultimate team stuff.

I think it is kind of cool that guys care enough about winning to sacrifice millions of dollars to win. Winning however by just unfairly pooling the best players in the world onto one team and then pounding the broken remains they leave behind just isn't that special to me.

Greg Monroe is a RFA so it'll take a lot of money (or a sign&trade) to get him.

I'm not even sure what your point is TBH King. I asked sportsbuck a question in particular..so I'll wait for his response before I go any further into it...

Interesting...the article above says he's criminally underrated offensively....looking forward to see how he does in a better spaced offense..

You know he made that **** up so people will think he's leaving and he can come up with his stupid "Bosh is going to this team according to sources" reports.
