going to the extreme here, say melo goes to the hornets. that would benefit the conference FAR more than if he ends up in chicago
I disagree, what's good for the conference is a playoff race that there are a few teams who could win the conference. If Melo stays in NY or goes to the hornets. The heat would still cake walk to the finals. Now if the heat were not in the east, that would be good for the conference bc it's a much less clear playoff race. So i think it's better for the conference if you have a 3 or 4 really good teams and the rest irrelevant teams. Than one good team and a bunch of average teams that might be lucky to get 2 wins against the heat.

melo to the hornets is probably my #1 wish for this offseason right now. i cant explain why but id just love to see it. (it was lebron to leave miami but thats 99% not happening)
They lost to mia in 5 with a healthy rose in 2011. Chicago since then lost key players like asik, korver and deng. Right now their best shot to beat miami is to sign melo and hope rose stays healthy.

Dude hasn't played for two seasons, so kinda lol. Seriously though, even if he went back to near his MVP form, that team would struggle to score. IMO they wouldn't be a big problem for a team like the Heat.

in 2011, taj wasnt even considered an offensive guy, butler was nothing, wade was health, and bosh hadnt gotten completely soft and 3pt dependant yet. also the heat bench was better in 2011 than it is now.

as good as asik is defensively, he doesnt give you much offensively which is what stoped(s) the bulls from beating miami

im just gonna blame the bucks tho, they need to just move to seattle, join the west and send mem of okc to the east. theres your new contender

Melo and healthy Rose would do some serious damage man. Heat is changing too. They're slowing down. Although it looks like they're gonna do some serious moves this summer.

Derrick Rose doesn't want to recruit because it's "not his job".

              LOL, seriously **** that guy.

You fellow Bulls fans can get on me all you want, but I'm tired of his garbage.

I rip on guys like LeBron and Wade, but the one thing I can't get on them, is that they'll do whatever it takes.

Hopefully GarPax and even Noah can come through this week.

Yeah I found it ironic that he let his brother criticize the bulls organization for not putting the pieces around him for a championship, yet Derrick rose hasn't been there the past two years. Not his fault for injuries but just sayin.

Lol miami's bench in 2011 was terrible.Washed up Mike bibby,Eddie House, Jamal Magloire and Mike Miller. This year they had a much better bench.

I'd take that bench over the whole damn team (except for Lebron) for the way they played in this years finals lol.

That should set off an alarm in Carmelo's head that he may not be wanted by the best player on the team. Go to the Lakers or Phoenix!!!

I'm all for Melo going to the Bulls. I think they could be really good together. Idk if I sent a different message somewhere in here.
My point was that if the Bulls don't get Melo, they won't be able to compete with the Heat, even if Rose was healthy.
