ThreeKing talking and not providing a link of course to the whole story.

Rose told Yahoo Sports on Sunday that he doesn’t plan to recruit Anthony – or any free agent, for that matter – even though he likes Anthony’s game and thinks they can play alongside each other.

Rose’s reason is simple: He said it’s “not his job.”

“My thing is if they want to come, they can come,” Rose said.

My point was that if the Bulls don't get Melo, they won't be able to compete with the Heat, even if Rose was healthy.

I disagree if they amnesty boozer and sign a solid offensive player and improve their bench they could still compete with the heat. That's assuming rose can be healthy and at least close to his past performance.

Regarding the Kidd thing, can Brooklyn just turn him into an assistant and pay him to basically do nothing like they did to Lawrence Frank? I feel like that would be a breach of contract because he was hired to be the head coach. It's one thing to say Frank is still an assistant coach while doing small stuff, but it's another to have your head coach not being involved with the team while someone else coaches the team.

          LOL, seriously **** that guy.

You fellow Bulls fans can get on me all you want, but I'm tired of his garbage.

I rip on guys like LeBron and Wade, but the one thing I can't get on them, is that they'll do whatever it takes.

Hopefully GarPax and even Noah can come through this week.
If he said "Yes, I'm going to recruit Melo. I want him here." wouldn't that be tampering since Melo isn't a free agent until July 1st?

              Definitely isn't Rose's job...

but he should be a part of the process...he doesn't have to grovel or do all the song and dance...but he should definitely be a part of the process as the leader of that team...

Atl would not be a good fit for Stephenson. That's like having JR Smith in NY.

Now Rose is unsure of even playing for Team USA.

I mean does this guy even like basketball anymore??

Why is everything a ****ing struggle with this guy?!?

You sure about that? Cause Williams is a guy who plays around 20 mins off the bench, mostly as a PG. I'd MUCH rather see Lowry/Williams as the PGs(with Vasquez being moved to SG) over Vasquez/Williams PG(and Lowry gone elsewhere).

Wouldn't be a bad idea though, Vasquez moving to SG. He's got the size to be a SG,has played SG for years before in his career(and occasionally did last season as well). Really hoping that is the case. And Nog might come over to play with Raptors, especially if Bruno is in Toronto as well because I'm sure getting to play with a fellow countrymen would be something that might attract him to come and play for Raptors.

i think a lou/vasquez tandem at the guard spots could do the raptors well off the bench. both guys can be either a scorer or "playmaker" and the 2-ball handler backcourt is works very well with spaced floors that toronto could have with patterosn @ the 4

Ya, as bench guys it'd be great to have and Raptors guard depth would probably be the best it's ever been in franchise history. Can't remember last time Raptors have 2 SG and 2PG who were all good at their roles.

Main thing to fix up now is just the SF situation(specifically finding a mentor for Ross and Bruno, preferably a veteran SF in free agency who can help these guys out) and also the cap stuff(Fields has to be the next one to go)

wonder if they would consider starting lou and moving ross to the backup 3/2 spots. you can get by with a 3 man rotation of lou-dd-ross @ the wing
