He struggled playing a LESSER role in Indiana and you want him to back up Beal? To be QUALITY 2 guard(which he ain't BTW)? Lol no thanks.

And who knows if Rice can be that guy and same goes with Porter but I'd rather find out with those 2 than bringing in Turner, especially since at some point you're going to have to find out what you have with those 2.

Way to be That Guy. Let a brother dream lol.

          1. We have a ton of cap space but just signed Ben freakin Gordon for 2 years. And gave him 9mil. 2. We won't score more then 90 points a game this year. 3. We waive Jameer, then turnaround and I repeat, sign Ben The Ultimate Chucker Gordon. What sense does that make. I didn't know he was even still in the league. Nick Young is ten times better then this scrub.

I swear being a fan of a bad basketball team is worse then being a fan of a bad team in any other sport. At least bad teams in other sports actually try from year to year. In basketball, you can tell the team is taking before camp begins.

Look at Evan Turner. He was averaging 16ppg on a terrible team then got traded to the pacers and was useless.

I get what you're saying, but that's such a horrible comparison lol

There aren't many good or even adequate options out there.

Jodie Meeks probably would've been the best fit, especially off those Wall/Miller kickouts for 3 but other than that I feel like you have a better chance discovering one that's already on the team than you would signing a bench scorer because they tend to come off the market quick. Wouldn't touch Jimmer either.

Or if they could find a way to trade for one, that'd be even better.

i think jimmer in washington would be a great fit. he is the complete opposite of john so would be a nice style change coming off the bench.

i am a firm believe he can be a 7-10 point a game guy for a team that gives him a chance to actually play

I personally think Washington would be better off finding a starting SF. But on the cheap side.

I don't think they necessarily need a back up SG, because really Webster and Porter can both play minutes there without it being an issue.

If they could get a vet SF for relatively cheap it's less pressure on Rice or Porter to be an instant success. But on the reverse, if they are an instant success you can ditch the vet because the investment is so small.

im not sold otto porter is a starter, or even backup in the nba

The problem with Jimmer in DC is Wittman places a big emphasis on Defense just like how Thibs does in Chicago. Remember, he was on a team that could use ANY Offense and still couldn't crack the rotation. He is who he is man.

As far as FA goes, they're better off bringing in Anthony Morrow or Brandon Rush.

PJ Tucker could fill an almost identical role as Ariza.. I actually can't believe he isn't getting significant interest from Miami

PJ Tucker is a RFA and I believe Phoenix has said they intend to bring him back, which they should BTW.

If Rush is healthy I like the fit. He can easily play a reserve off the bench or even start at SF if no one else can fill the role.
