Which again, is ridiculous on her part. We have a pretty big Puerto Rican community here, one of the largest media markets in the country and again, Oprah built a multi billion dollar media empire out of one of the dingiest looking buildings you'll ever see in your life here. We may as well be ****ing Smallville the way some of these athletes/wives/girlfriends/side chicks act.

I agree, Chicago has been the best spot for him from the beginning.

I honestly think he could find the success he's looking for in Chicago, Houston, and Dallas, (yes I said Houston).. And I can understand him staying in New York, or heading to LAL.. It just seems odd that LA has emerged as the "front runner" according to Media anyways, because I would have considered it least likely of the group.

Well, Chicago ain't exactly "bright lights big city" happy feeling.

There's plenty wrong with the city that would drive people away from wanting to live around there. Not that LA or NY is a paradise by any stretch of the imagination. If I had to pick one of the three to live in, it would be Chicago. There's plenty of **** wrong with the city, though, if one wanted to use that as ammo for "why I don't wanna live there."

LOL at LeLa's career even being brought up, I'm sure she contributes just as much as Melo. Lol ya right, anyway who cares Melo is overrated, all he does is score and lose.

I don't see how him not going to Chicago makes him not care about winning? I mean when I look at Chicago I see a Derrick Rose who hasn't played that much in 3 seasons. I see a very awful bench and the only positive is a strong leader in Joakim Noah and rising talent jimmy butler. He knows if he goes back to NY he won't win next year, it's the years after that. The dude says he would rather not uproot his family again and his family loves NY. He listened to Phil's plans and maybe sees a realistic opportunity in the future to win. I don't think there's any team being talked about (not mavs, bulls, lakers, Houston, or Knicks) that he would go to that would make it past the conference finals. So lay off the guy if he cares about things other than winning.

Maybe not to the level of NY and LA, but it's definitely bright lights big city. There's no problems here that NY isn't also dealing with. Definitely things wrong here, but not anymore than any other big city.

Melo overrated? Honestly at this point, because lots of people say the same thing you said, I think he's become the most underrated star status player in the league.

He basically has for 2 years straight, which only magnifies the point. The criticism on Melo has gotten to a point he's underrated. Never thought i'd see that.

Everyone's whining about LeBron and Carmelo holding up free agency. Well, this is what happens when you let inmates run the asylum.
