Why not? If he's willing to sign with the Lakers to play with a 36 year old Kobe or the Knicks who have no one I don't know why he wouldn't consider Miami. I'm sure Riley would find something to entice him.

Lol Stephen A apparently is saying New York and Philly are talking about taking on Amare's contract to get Shumpert. What a joke.

Houston's natural landing spot for Bosh: Can play PF next to Dwight Howard, make $20M-plus and return to home state w/ a title contender.

            Please, dude.

I was going to games in the old Chicago Stadium BEFORE MJ showed up. I was rockin' Bulls gear, and trying to emulate Orlando Woolridge and Reggie Theus on my Nerf hoop.

It's obviously different since Miami has way more transplants and nicer weather than Chicago.

The Bulls had an insane amount of fans during MJ's day though, I knew more Bulls fans growing up in CT than I knew Knicks or Celtics fans.

Regarding the Bulls, they ALWAYS had fans even before MJ came to town. In fact back in the '70s they had one of the grittier teams in the league. It's not like the fans turned away in droves and only came around when the team was successful. Looking at their attendance numbers they were pretty much what you'd expect considering their record and even after the Jordan era they packed the joint most of the time.

Gives them cap space next year man. They're still tanking.

Also I find it highly believable that the ESPN meat heads are all in the office together giggling like gossiping school girls over this LeBron story. They're just all repeating eachother.

Mentioned it in the team thread but stranger things have happened. Amare is still a good scorer and he's an expiring deal. Philly has virtually no offense, especially in the front court. If the Knicks added a pick or Larkin (or someone similar) I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility.

Clearly Phil wants to do something big this summer instead of waiting for next.

McBob is a good pickup for the Heatles if they stay together. Was always one of my favorite dirty guys in the league. Guy is a hustle and energy player, but he has the skill to back it up. He always gives 110%.

He's basically a younger version of Birdman. Not a bad pickup but if he's the guy they're gonna get with their MLE... unless their other targets are taking minimums I would hope some other better players could be had for them for the MLE.

If McBob is their prize signing... yikes

Guy had one decent shooting year and he's going to get the full MLE? I don't get it.
