I get this argument, but how long does it take to make a decision? Didn't Carmelo finish up his meetings last Thursday? Now we're going on Wednesday and still nothing. I feel like these guys purposely don't announce just to feed their own ego's or something.

Seems the NBA offseason is just a glorified multibillion dollar version of going to High School, and all this fascination over the prom queen is starting to get annoying.

Who really knows? We look at them as guys in jerseys who play basketball, but all these guys have family's and everything else...there's no telling what they're waiting on...why should they rush anyway? because some fans are anxious?

            Isn't Marvin Williams a 3?

Where would he fit behind Jeffery Taylor and MKG?

            Speaking of the Hornets

Hornets pleased with meeting with Gordon Hayward today, but Jazz maintain stance that they plan to match any offer sheet for him.

Too slow to be a 3 too weak to be 4. Small ball lineups might work for him. But corbin did use him at the 4

Hornets are apparently after Marvin Williams.

If he comes cheap it would be a good move. I don't view him as a starting PF though. I'd think he'd be a backup SF/PF guy. That would be a decent fit though. Let him play as a smallball 4 off the bench or in bigger lineups as a 3.

EDIT: Too late with the link

Like I said I hear you but it seems excessive. There are plenty of hours throughout the day for these guys to sit there and contemplate amongst themselves or family or teammates. And let's not act like they haven't been thinking about it before FA even hit, especially Melo who wasn't in the playoffs.

That said, I'm not an NBA player and don't know what these guys are going through or the phone calls they're receiving so it is hard to tell.

Marvin played at the 4 last year, he's a stretch guy but he's young and still improving. (Even though he's been in the league forever). I actually like the move, everyone was pondering on Vonleh/Zeller starting, at least this gives them 3 guys to work with at that position. And if they do run some small ball, which would work against most East teams, his shooting would compliment Al very well.

There is no drama at this point and people get bored every summer. The awful threads are coming regardless.

We've already had the bad tweets.

The big 3 ate salad together.

LeBron had a meeting with a sponsor.

Melo was smiling after steak dinner with Dwight.

Rose was working out then he didn't work out.

What's next Dirk was having a drink with big Al?

With the money Frye got from Orlando, we would've been better off just upping the offer to McRoberts and retaining him.

Bismack will never play PF here, he's strictly a center. Clifford is weird with his rotations. He's pretty strict about how he rotates guys.

If Mack could learn to catch the ball and/or make a layup it'd do wonders for his career...
