Chandler is 25 but has no potential left? Interesting.

Mavs GM Donnie Nelson tells reporters Chandler Parsons offer sheet has NOT been submitted to Rockets, so the 72-hour clock hasn't started.

Oh god, here we go. We're probably not even going to end up with him and by the time we don't end up with him Ariza is going to be gone too.

I really don't want to end up with Deng.

Nah SF y'all can have Parsons. 15 million a year for Parsons? I'm good brodie, I'm sure we can find a serviceable replacement at a 10th of that cost.

Looks like Rockets did try to do some recruiting. Lowry said that Dwight Howard tried getting him to join the Rockets. The more surprising thing....so did Chandler Parsons(who supposedly might not even stay with Rockets?)

And he squashed the Heat rumors saying he never had contact with the Heat.

It just seems like he's taking his sweet time just for the sake of grandstanding.

Its easy to sit back as a fan of a team like the Spurs and take shots at other teams for overspending on guys when they have to put in minimal work to get people that they have already been having success to re-sign with them. It also helps when you have one of the greatest coaches the game has ever seen and you have a brilliant front office when it comes to drafting.

You can criticize the Mavs and other front offices for overspending on these guys but what are they supposed to do? If anything has been shown to some of these teams over the past few years, its that they aren't attractive free agent destinations. Now, why Dallas isn't an attractive free agent spot, I'll probably never understand, but when you miss out on big free agents for three offseasons in a row, you tend to start to overspend on some guys that you think can really improve the team.

I cant believe how crazy Cleveland fans are going for Lebron. If he teases them again only to sign back in miami, dude will get greeted by a lynch mob next time he goes to OH

I really hope not, so far all info has either came from the media or "sources". If he comes back, great. It speeds up the contending process a ton. If not, we still have a young, talented team and cap to make moves.
