I just want to know already... I can't be the only one holding up the start of their summer Association on 2k until these guys sign, can I?

I'm stuck with the POS My GM mode. I'm seriously considering re-buying 2K13 for my 360 just so I can play Association.

So I found this guys. Not sure how accurate they are though.

The news here is that both are under the impression that they will be joined by LeBron James. McRoberts accepted the full mid-level exception, and Danny Granger the bi-annual exception. This means that the Heat are hardcapped, and cannot spend more than $81 million. They are operating as though James, Bosh, Wade, and perhaps Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, and Shabazz Napier will put them over the cap.

They might have a trade exception to take back about $ 2 million in salary. I haven't been able to confirm that. Outside of this, they can sign players to the veteran's minimum. That's it.

They could but the point is that they don't want to be the bad guy. They'd rather have Bosh leave on his own. A no hard feelings type of situation.

Anyway I'd really like to know what Miami's financial situation is right now. Seems to be mixed. If all they can do now is resign Bron/Bosh/Wade I'm not sure they got that much better. Not that they needed to get a lot better(although hopefully for them whatever contract Wade signs is short term or has a short term team option in it) but I honestly expected some better pieces.

Fear The Sword is usually trustworthy, but for some reason those numbers seem off to me. Are they assuming Lebron Wade and bosh all sign for the max?

Assuming the Bulls miss out on Melo, that line-up itself should bring us back to the Finals. Though nothing special, it's definitely an upgrade over last years' roster. Still not sure how our defense will be especially with Wade another year older. Personally I felt Wade was fine offensively- it's the defensive end that his game has really gone south.

In the back of his mind, Riley is probably thinking of "how to beat the Spurs". But of course nothing is given and we're a long way til April.

Being in the East should get you back to the finals if you have LeBron on your roster....

                              Comparatively speaking...

                              Varajao/Zeller/Haywood

And that's without any additional players being added with the MLE or any other exemption they may have. Or trades.

I think the only position I'd say the Heat have is Center, and I think the Cavaliers have better depth there. The Backcourt isn't even close in talent, though. Cavs probably have 2, maybe 3 players who will be more productive than Wade next year.
