I don't see that on his Twitter, maybe it was on fake Woj's account
There's reports out there like SI.com but I can't find an actual link where Woj says it.

They aint gonna get Lance, well at least I don't think so. They have Felton and Harris at the 1 and then Monta at the 2 and they're close to bringing Vince back.

Bazemore supposedly met with the Hawks but no deal has been made...

          Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 16m
Quote attributed to me on @Foxsports1 feed bit of context: Bosh's preference remains with LeBron in Miami, but he's open to Houston offer.
I'm assuming he means "needs a bit of context." lol

We'll see. This free agency is just so odd. Its not like LeBron or Melo is going to just any team yet they're all pandering. Its getting kind of wack

There we go. The original report I read was: "Bosh tells Houston he wants to play with Miami and LeBron". Seemed like an odd thing.. lol

Yea, that's why I said I would go full 2k mode and move him. I think Harkless will be gone by then. I just don't see IT in him. He has potential but he just hasn't been improving. I think he is a poor man's Paul George and is very much expandable. Plus, another 4mil will be off the books when B. Gordon leaves.

Also, Frye was 10th in the NBA last year in RPM at 5.08 and 14th in WAR at 10.82

We'll just ignore the hyperbole here.

The Bulls had a need and a certain amount of money to fill it. Much like the Spurs need that they filled with Boris Diaw... equally laughable when made. People need to stop chasing name guys. Stats are based on talent and situation. Rip and Dunleavy were put in positions to do more than they should've needed to on that team (what happens with injuries they've had). People joke the Heat for starting Rashard Lewis (myself included) but that was a finals team.
Didn't know me suggesting Nick Young meant breaking the bank (Signed for 3.7, and 1.1 million the past two years. Well within Chicago's range). This also ignores the fact that they let Belinelli walk for the same price as Dunleavy who from an offensive ability standpoint at this point, is half the player that Belinelli is, which is what we desperately needed. Between him and Robinson, they were our best creators on offense the last 3rd of the season.

And if you've been in here, you'd know that I have denounced our pursuit of Carmelo on multiple occasions

Bottom line is, looking at the 2013 stats of the FA list, sorting from best to worse, and then trying to sign from top down is not necessarily the best way to build a team or address needs.
No one said it was. The generalizations aren't needed.

How's Granger on the defensive end? Can he hold his ground against the team's best and second leading scorer? And is he able to knock the open 3 with consistency? Battier was just brutal watching last season- Aside from that Game 7 Finals outing in 2013, the guy has been on a shooting slump for almost 2 years.

A good defensive system can make a horrible defender average at best so I think Granger will be OK in that regard.

Yes and yes although that was before his injury. No idea what he's like now. Didn't catch too many Clippers games and in the minimal games he played for the Pacers last season he was still working his way back into shape. I'm sure he can give you the 3 ball at least though.

Granger in no way can be worse than Battier or Beasley but at the same time the Heat in no way should depend on Granger for much since he's always hurt (and just not the same player after the injuries). He was invisible to end the year with the Clippers because he was hurt...

Was Miami's defensive success really a product of their system though?

I personally don't believe so. I've never considered Miami an elite defensively sound team. Really, once you get past opponent PPG, they aren't that impressive.

I don't think they will make Granger look any better than he is now.

Does anyone think that the reason Carmelo hasn't made his decision by now, is the fact that he's waiting for MIA? He said he would give a decision by the end of the weekend or at least that was the rumored report (everything's a f***** rumor lol) I think he might be waiting to see if Bosh actually takes the offer in Houstom. If he does then I think The Knicks and MIA are the 2 front runners. I don't think this is necessarily what's going on I'm just throwing out a realistic possibility.

One more thing. Can the Miami heat basically force Dwade to take a huge paycut? Bc no one has really been interested for him and I can't see many teams paying him that much if Miami was to drop their offer to him extremely low. I feel if MIA gives Dwade a 8+ mil per year contract they are overpaying him
