Didn't realize the Lakers have about 17 million tied up in Lin and Nash alone

Eh, nobody wants to go to LA. Might as well try to do a money grab with Lin. Both of them expire after the season.

While could they maybe some how get a high pick if they traded gasol? I mean it sounds like gasol could go to the spurs or OCK or bulls but those are good teams so its not like you could get a high pick if you traded him for a player or 2 and a draft pick. I am getting mader and mader at david strin for not letting the CP3 trade go though a few years ago it really scweard the lakers over. The stupid thing was the pelicans would have gotten more good things back in that trade then want the ended up getting to. If the trade went though the lakers would have had CP3, howard and kobe witch then means kobe wouldn't have had to try to cary the team has much so he probly wouldn't have gotten hurt and howard probly wouldn't have left and the lakers would maybe have a championship the last few years or at least been a contender. It will scweard the lakers over. The thing is kobe is at the end and if the lakers don't get good in the next 2-3 years with kobe after kobe leves thing are probly going to suck for a few years so it could be a long time before the lakers are good again.

              Really?

You didn't realize this, or you just wanted to reiterate it lol?

It honestly doesn't even matter, who the **** exactly would they be needing desperate cash to aquire right now.

I didn't know what Lins salary was until a few minutes ago, I just knew it was done in favor of screwing the Knicks to get him out of NY.

The Lakers are anything but hurting for more money at the moment.

Klay definitely got better this year. He is, without a doubt, the best 3 and D guy in the league. But that's all he is, I think he still has room for improvement namely improving his court vision and passing abilities but at his best I see him as a fringe all star.

Kevin Love is a superstar. A Curry/Love combo will always be better than a Curry/Klay combo. Klay isn't a guy you can just give the ball to and have him go to work, Love is. Love would prevent guys from just keying in on stopping Curry because of the presence of two dominant offensive presences on the floor.

People point to Klay being able to guard opposing point guards so Curry doesn't have to being important. This is where Livingston comes into play since he can play that role now and also be a ballhandler so Curry can work more offball. Not to mention we still have defensive stalwarts Iggy, Draymond, and Bogut in the middle.

I know everyone's going to disagree, but Wade would be a great fit in Chicago if they can't bring in Melo.

By the end of the day today, Darryl Morey might have turned Jeremy Lamb, Kevin Martin, some draft picks, Jeremy Lin, and Omer Asik into a starting 5 that goes Beverly-Harden-Parsons-Bosh-Howard.

                        That's incredible.

You saw what happened at the Portland game after McHale told them NOT to switch. Well Harden made them switch anyway then didn't even move over to help.

I hope people aren't expecting Parsons to be Scottie Pippen now
Not at all. I just remember Parsons being a good defender his first 2 years.

I just watched some of his footage from the past year. Some of the time it is his fault like when he's crowding faster players and they run right past him (e.g. Batum in playoffs). But the remaining of the time he's mismatched on a smaller faster player - either someone else lost their man or he's been assigned to guard them.

If they can get Wade and Melo they should. They should be trying very hard to do this as a matter of factly.
