I would say based off that info that PP was going after the most money then, looks like the Nets passed on him and the Clippers already spent their MLE on Hawes. His market wasn't really that large to begin with so I don't blame him. The Wizards are actually a good fit anyway and could easily make the conference finals if not better. Porter and PP will be a solid rotation at the 3

I just hope the Pierce signing ends up a lot better than other big name signings that have been signed in this city throughout history.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I bet more than anything PP will look terrible during the regular season and then come to life during the playoffs. Let Porter handle the rigors of the regular season it'll help him develop quicker too. Let PP go all out once the playoffs begin.
So is there just no market for restricted free agents Eric Bledsoe and Greg Monroe? I'm shocked they haven't been offered contracts. I've always thought Bledsoe got tremendously overhyped but that still doesn't mean he shouldn't have been offered a contract. Maybe it's his injury?
I also am still wondering where guys like Marion, Mo Williams and Ramon Sessions end up. I think Mo would fit perfectly with the Cavs off the bench along with other former James teammates like Ray Allen and/or Mike Miller.
Rockets are on the clock... they have 12 hours to make a decision on Parsons.. I'd imagine that would impact Marion a bit.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
All I'm saying Miami is that..
This: Bledsoe/Wade/Beas/McRoberts/Bosh
And this: Cole/Wade/Beas/Bosh/Monroe
Looks much better than...
This: Cole/Wade/Deng/McRoberts/Bosh

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Lance is just trying to get leverage on Indy to give him more money, but I don't think he expected his free agency to be this quiet. Dallas is going to go after him if they don't get Parsons though so we'll see.Indianapolis Colts
Indiana Pacers
Indiana Hoosiers
Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
bledsoes staying in phoenix.. they want him, and they will pay him. hes still a RFA he aint going anywhere.
monroe is in the same exact boat in detroit.
when guys like this arent getting much media attention its because other teams know its not really worth the time to try and get them away from current teams.
im sure, some team desperate for a FA splash will offer lance 12 a year.. dallas, charlotte, maybe miami
deng also has the 1 year opt out.Last edited by turty11; 07-13-2014, 01:35 PM.Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Lance going to play SF in Dallas? He'll be giving up a couple inches but other guys have done it at his height. He's definitely capable of defending small forwards.
