Mo made some extremely scathing comments about Lebron so I doubt he goes back to Cleveland.

Dallas is talking to him supposedly. They need shooters. Williams lives in Dallas and has shown some interest in joining the Mavs.

Hopefully, the Mavs have a good plan B in place in case Houston matches Parsons, and hopefully that plan includes Lance Stephenson.

monroe is in the same exact boat in detroit.

when guys like this arent getting much media attention its because other teams know its not really worth the time to try and get them away from current teams.

im sure, some team desperate for a FA splash will offer lance 12 a year.. dallas, charlotte, maybe miami

deng also has the 1 year opt out.

Obviously those teams both want to keep and pay those guys. But will both teams match a max offer?

Phoenix has so much perimeter depth now. Thomas, Dragic, Ennis, Goodwin, Green, Warren, Tucker, Smith (I think he's still there)... Do they really want to dump all that money in Bledsoe considering they were nearly a playoff team without him most of the year and could be using that space next year to throw at a big name guy? Say Kevin Love.

Detroit just has so many bad contracts it's not even funny. Jennings, Smith, Meeks now. And Drummond is definitely their guy for the future. It's already shown that a Smith/Monroe/Drummond lineup isn't effective (who would have known).. KCP has been killer in the summer league. It seems like moving Monroe in a trade, or letting another team overpay for him and sliding Smith to PF is their best move.

Not saying either of those teams will let those two walk, but at least make a higher offer at them to match. Like Parsons/Hayward.

Meh idk.. Felton wasn't really like that before Woodson and I'm not sure he even starts or they even keep him, Lance wasn't like that before Indy collapsed or even that bad after, and the Monta Dirk duo looked pretty damn good last season.

yes they want bledsoe. their owner came right out and said it yesterday during the SL games. id say its about 95% likely they match a max.

ennis belongds in the D league and looked horibble and selfish yesterday, ish smith shouldnt/wont be on the roster, archie and isaiah gonna be coming off the bench while pj and gerald fill the 3, and TJ plays spot minutes at the 3 and i think he should spend most time @ 4. channing frye leaving actually oppened this door, since they are left with just the twins and len/plum

hornacek said they will be playing the "hot guy" leaving the possibility of a 12 man high pace rotation open.

im also thinking they try to trade gerald, since TJ warren can fill his role and then some.

Yeah I doubt Monroe goes anywhere. I would call the suns bluff on Bledsoe though.

Lance would be nice in Charlotte

Not sure if this was posted yet, from Melo's site:

A few years ago I dreamed of coming back to New York City, the place of my birth, and on February 23, 2011 that became a reality. This organization has supported me and in return, I want to stay and build here with this city and my team. At this pivotal juncture in my career, I owed it to myself and my family to explore all of the options available to me. Through it all, my heart never wavered.

During this journey I met with some quality organizations who have amazing talent and leadership. I thank them for their consideration, belief in my talent, and opportunity to imagine the possibilities.

I will always remember this chapter in my life. In the end, I am a New York Knick at heart. I am looking forward to continue my career in Orange & Blue and to work with Phil Jackson, a champion who builds championship teams. Madison Square Garden is the mecca of basketball and I am surrounded by the greatest fans in the world.

If they sign Lance they might move Ellis to Point and have Felton back him up while Lance starts at 2. That's what I would do at least.

So the Lin deal was officially announced today:

LAL just announced the acquisition of Jeremy Lin + first and second round picks in 2015 from HOU for the rights to Sergei Lishchuk.

Not a bad deal for the Lakers. Two 2015 draft picks for a one-year contract.

I don't think Warren can fill Green's role and then some. Maybe what Green has been most his career, but not what he was in Phoenix last season. He was up up 16 a game, 20 per 36 minutes, 40% from 3, and wasn't he starting SG once Bledsoe went down? I believe before Dragic was starting SG, with Green as a 6th man type player.

Not saying they don't keep Bledsoe, but someone needs to be offering him just in case they don't match.

I bet Devin Harris would be starting PG in that situation.

Perhaps they could bring Monta off the bench in a JET 6th man role? He would be great in that role, but idk if he would accept it.

I honestly think they could start Harris, Monta, Lance. They would just have to make some adjustments when they played against Durant is all. Hopefully they can keep Marion.
