2014 Off-Season Thread
Lance definitely needs to continue to mature on and off the court. I wouldn't classify him a 'head case'....but he's earned the skepticism....and that goes beyond "Blowgate". Every one from his teammates to his GM have questioned his maturity...they aren't just saying it to be saying it.
That said, I am looking forward to see his he grows as a player....as a ticket holder, I'm pretty much invested in dude now lolComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I love Lance as a player personally. Probably in the minority, but I was hoping the Bulls would have smartened up and made an offer but good to see the Hornets snag him.
And all any of these moves mean, is that if San Antonio stays healthy, they are lined up for another run at a championship.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Yeah, I haven't heard much of any off the court issues with Lance. Not sure where guys are getting the head case thing from.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Nah Pack, I've always been a Lance defender. Guy can flat out play, and I love his antics. He's one of the only guys in the league with an "edge" now.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I like Lance a LOT better for the Hornets at 9 mil per year than Hayward at 15 mil. Hayward might have been a better fit but Kemba/Lance/MKG/Vonleh?/Jefferson is a solid lineup and should only get better.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Must have been something going on for lance to accept the same money from a different club. Maybe they all didn't get along or maybe lance thinks he can have more freedom in Charlotte.
Pacers got a lot less impressive on top of their implosion. Best case for them is that this is addition by subtraction, locker room wise. Reports have always been that bird covered for lances missteps behind closed doors

I think one + in this for he Pacers is it puts more responsibility on PG to be aggressive. He's a hard worker and I think the focus on finishing through contact and development of his post game shows he's ready to step up....
Offense might even improve if they can recommit to moving the ball...and now you have a natural shooter at the 2..Comment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I read a second ago that it was MJ's allure that drew Lance in. The report said that his vision was the same as MJ's, and that MJ sold him on Charlotte.
Good for Charlotte. Glad that MJ is able to start helping bring some guys in.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I absolutely love this deal for Charlotte. I've been intrigued about the possibility of them getting him, but after that max offer to Hayward I was afraid they would throw that much money at lance too and that would be a MAJOR risk. But at 3 years for 27 mil and the 3rd year is a team option? They nailed that deal. Plus they left themselves cap room to make a run at Boozer and add some veteran depth to their front court. I'm also wondering if they're gonna shop Henderson now, because they need too.Comment

Yeah one of the Pacers reporters tweeted earlier that Indy wasn't even given the chance to match Charlottes offer.
