Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
I gave you clear, indisputable evidence as to why he has not made the playoffs, pointing out how bad his teams have been. You've now TWICE said "other players have done more with less" without any evidence and unless you can clearly show me who has done more with less, you're talking out of your ***.
You don't need to tell me anything on the Wiggins front; I've made my stance on that very clear and my argument with you has nothing to do with Wiggins or if they should trade Wiggins for Love (no they should not). This is about the unfair label Kevin Love has been given as a loser because he has never been placed in a position to win. Don't underestimate how important that is. How many teams succeed if they are not setup into position to succeed?
Again, show me who has done more with LESS than K Love has and I will re-examine my stance, but until then your argument has zero merit.
Jason Kidd - Early 00s Nets
Carmelo Anthony - Early 00s Nuggets
Kobe Bryant - Mid 00s Lakers
Chris Bosh - 2006 Raptors
Dwyane Wade - 2009 Heat
I'll say this in that the days of Elite guys being surrounded by complete bums(AKA Guys who have no business being in the league)don't happen much anymore today, or at least not like they used to. I mean even two of recent Twolves teams you mentioned, they were projected(barring injury obviously)to contend for one those 8 playoff spots in the West.
Of course, injuries to some key players happened over the course of those seasons and then things went south from there, but it's not like he didn't have talent(unless either one of us has paid THAT much attention to their teams, which neither of us have outside of a few games) that wasn't good enough to even compete for the 8th spot in the West, which has always been the one spot up for grabs, save for 1 or 2 years.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Off-Season Thread
Their gameplan was to leverage this by bringing in a 3rd star player (Bosh, Melo, etc.), sign them to a max deal, and then extend/match Parsons after that and go over the cap with his bid rights in order to do it.
It didn't work out for them, but I'm pretty confident Morey already has a few tricks left up his sleeve. Ariza has a pretty tradeable contract, and with the cap rising they'll have even more room to pursue another key player.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment
