Keep in mind Kobe is making 24 million per year, which makes selling the LA Lakers a lot more difficult than it would be.

We all know that and he does too. Its not like LeBron or Durant making 24 mil.

This is Kobe off 2 big injuries making 24 mil... no coach, new ownership so to speak, and honestly the effort and time being there until he's gone is kind of fruitless. They really need to prepare for life after Kobe at this point. They're really taking their time doing so.

Also who else did they go after besides Melo? ... even then the pitch was worse than what Kobe said to Dwight to be honest.

Yup, pretty much this, z. This is what Broussard does. Woj or Amick or K.C. Johnson or somebody will break something, Broussard will come out five, ten minutes or even a few hours later and "break" the same info, but he'll throw his own speculation in at the end to make it look like he did some extra work or something.

Pet peeve of mine... we come here to get away from the stupid crap people say and believe in other forums. It'd be helpful if you make it clear that you're talking about other places besides OS when posting stuff like this. The problem is there ends up being a big discussion bc no one here understands what the issue is since it's not about anything here.

Jimmy Waterhouse, if you've seen it here please point it out. Again, the extremes on each sides of these type of discussions are usually created like this... bc most people are being accused of being in a group that says/believes things that they didn't/don't.

It would be Klay, Lee and probably a pick or so. Personally I think it'd be a better deal for them. Partially because I think Wiggins develops into a better NBA player on the Cavs than on the Wolves, and I think Lee (if healthy) can be productive for them right away and clear a decent amount of cap space in the not too distant future.

Either way, I don't think it's just a Klay vs Wiggins thing.

All these guys are full of ****. I still believe Chris Sheridan took a shot in the dark, and happened to get lucky.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but Brian Windhorst is actually looking pretty decent compared to all these hacks.

I can see your point and I'm 99% sure I've seen it posted by some people on here. Unfortunately with the way you have these forums structured it's impossible to find and point out because you have one thread designated for the hundreds of different off-season NBA topics and it's way too clustered to search. But anyway to your point, note taken.

@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN sources say Bucks will be clamining Kendall Marshall off waivers as soon as possible, foiling Lakers' plans of re-signing @KButter5

He could potentially be a really good fit in the backcourt with Knight.

Probably means we aren't going after Bledsoe though.

Nice that he will get picked up, thought he did pretty good last year for the Lakers and was surprised they let him go. (I don't get into the financial side of things like many of you)

Like him and Henson being back together but hate they both have to play for Kidd, haven't liked him for awhile.

Yes he did...Marshall was a real solid passer and floor leader for L.A.

From what was said they wanted to pick him back up if he wasn't claimed.

Figured someone had to get cut with bringing on Boozer and the last signing.
