Your picture doesn't show 702. At least for me it doesn't.

And yeah Kobe has no right to complain about this.

I just hope Boozer doesn't play more than 15 minutes a game. I want Randle/Kelly/ out there taking most of the minutes.

Amazing what kind of talent suddenly wants to go to Cleveland when LeBron makes it known that his long term future is there. Just sayin'

and they'll be giving up a #1 draft pick to get him, if they even get him.

they may end up getting some more assets, but it's a little early to cash that chip in because of Miller and James Jones.

Even still though. First time around nobody wanted to come to Cleveland though. Who cares if they'd be giving up a first round pick to get him. It'd be a top player willing to be in Cleveland because he's coming with the idea that LeBron will be there long term. That was my point. Not making any basketball proclamations on how good or bad they'd be after the move.

You don't think if the '09 Cavs were dangling Blake Griffin, or John Wall in '09-'10, they wouldn't get any top player interest? The first pick of the draft is a pretty big deal. I could see if Love was outright signing there (which he may end up doing)..but it's a different situation IMO.

EDIT: I meant "cashing that chip in" as
                making that point

This makes me happy. Darius Miller resigned with the Pelicans. I feel like he can be a decent bench guy so happy to see him sign somewhere.

I think most people on the internet criticizes the Cavs for considering the Love for Wiggings trade talk as if Love is an average player who's nearing 30. Dude is only 25 years old, and is easily the best rebounder and stretch big in the NBA. He's also an elite scorer, and even though he has played on crappy teams, if you watch the games you know the guy is legit. Wiggins might have a lot of potential, but when you have an elite player available you have to sacrifice that in order to get him. If the Wolves ever gave up Love without Wiggins or Thompson in the deals, they'd be saps and the fact now is that several teams that are competing for the Love trade means the offers are getting better whereas before teams were holding off.

Also, if the Cavs just decide to wait for Love to be a free agent, that might never happen as there are several interested teams in making a trade for him on teams he'd consider resigning for, specially considering that its Cleveland. It just doesn't make any sense to let luck play its course considering that you can get arguably a top 5-10 guy right now instead of waiting to see if Wiggins develop.

I do however believe that Wiggins will end up being great, but he's not a slam dunk like Kobe Bryant or Lebron. Dude is showing that he is ready to play, but there's still major holes in his game that will give headaches to a team that's trying to win now.

                      Interesting proposal(just a proposal,not a rumor) I saw.

                      Lakers get:
                      Landry Fields(6.25M expiring contract)
                      Chuck Hayes(5.9M expiring contract)

                      Raptors get:
                      Steve Nash(9.7M expiring contract)

And maybe Raptors even eat up half of Hayes contract as well to make salaries match? Lakers clearly aren't tanking anymore seeing how they got Lin and Boozer, so getting rid of Nash(who prob won't even play much anymore due to injuries, and Lakers having Lin/Marshall as PGs) and just taking on about the same amount of money in expiring contracts(but for guys who'll actually play)....it could work?

Raptors were looking at getting a 3rd string PG and at this point in his career, Nash would probably fit that role. Provide good leadership for the young team while playing the very limited minutes he'll get. And obviously benefits Raptors as well cause of the PR move of having a Canadian on their team(and possibly retire a Raptor as well). His jersey will sell like crazy too.

                        Ehhh. Why not.

And I don't think getting Lin and Boozer is the proof a team ins't tanking.

Ray Allen is such a professional. He would rub off on all the Cavs. Ray Allen is one of the few players I'd like to see coach or do something that keeps him around basketball for the rest of my life. He should just run around the league teaching teams how to shoot. Norris Coles jump shot from improved a lot under him.
