Haven't seen anyone post this. Even Charlotte can be in on it if they unload a few scrub bench warmers.

I hope he goes around to almost all the teams and hear what they have to say. I'm over him in Miami and wouldn't mind if he went to some of those teams.

I just heard some interview Carmelo did recently and it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere. Said the average fan just looks at where he could win next year but he has to look at where his family will be living for the next 6-8 years. Also mentioned that it was hard for him to make friends and go to another school when he moved and his son would have to do that if he was to move. Man it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.

I honestly expect that he'll end up resigning as well.

One potential scenario, I'm told, would send (Josh) Smith to Kings for Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams. Jason Terry might be another option

Sacto might need a new batch of amateur analysts if they think this is a good idea.

The real news everyone has been waiting for.

Nick Young has informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he will not pick up his player option and will become a free agent, his agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPN.

He was always going to opt out. He meant take less money like instead of signing for 5 or 6 million somewhere else, he may stay in LA for 4.5 mil. No way was he going to return on 1.5 million next year.

Nobody gets along with Kobe, people tolerate him but very few(fisher, Gasol) may actually get along with him.

Smh. First off, he wants a long term contract and more than 1.5M. He was always going to do this so chill and where did you hear that bogus *** rumor?

As much as I like this for Detroit (although we basically traded the 9th pick for nothing by punting on Smith), wouldn't Josh Smith be an upgrade for them at the 4? I don't think they'd move Derrick Williams unless they really soured on him quickly; but Terry (37) and Thompson (who wants out) makes sense. Thompson is pretty expendable with Carl Landry on the roster.

                              PF- Smith

                              PG- Marcus Smart
                              6th Man- Thomas

That's pretty watchable. How good it is, I have no clue.

Although maybe it's just me trying to hard to sell trying to open up room for Monroe and Drummond to play most of the year together and the fact that I don't hate Smith as a player like most people on OS.
