The Kings just dont have that guy who will go out there and ball when it's all on the line. As much as I despise Doug Christie, he and the one-legged C-Webb were the only guys who played with any fire. Its time to trim some fat and get some tough guys in there...Brad Miller was a start.
    Favorite Teams:

Injuries have hurt the Kings. Im not so sure I would breakup the team yet. A healthy Webber and that series doesn't even go 7 games. The biggest problem with the Kings is that Peja never steps up when the team needs him. Lack of depth really hurt them this year. The change that is more likely is a new coach.

it has been great...5 yrs of quality basketball...but...

they have run their course...they have gotten rid of their bench...so now some starters must go

this off season should bring drastic change...and the maloofs should show that cow bells and attendance wont get you to the finals...

a couple of the guys on this team are overrated...and we know who they are...time to tear it down

the word clutch likes to be thrown around in basketball...the term 'cant finish' should be stapled directly on a Kings jersey

The year Williams came into the league was also Webbers first year as a King. Jason Williams didn't put them on the map, the fact that they started winning did.

And who in this league can start for the Kings that would be an improvement over what they have now? I'm not a Kings fan at all, I'm happy they lost, but they have a nice group of players. One of the best PGs in the league, and arguably the best SF. Brad Miller IMO is top 5 center and Christie is a really good defender who also can add some offense. Webber is.......ummmmmm.....he's a.........at least he didn't get hurt tonight.

The window of opportunity is offically closed for Sac-town. Time to tear it down and start a new.

I wouldnt make an argument for Peja being the best SF in the league, but the Kings do have a nice lineup. I just dont see what major upgrades they need to make. True they are choke artists but Can you give away Pejas shooting, Christies defense and attitude, Bibby's J, Webbers versatility(when healthy) and Miller's toughness. They need to do something, but I dont think they need an extreme makeover.
