I wouldnt make an argument for Peja being the best SF in the league, but the Kings do have a nice lineup. I just dont see what major upgrades they need to make. True they are choke artists but Can you give away Pejas shooting, Christies defense and attitude, Bibby's J, Webbers versatility(when healthy) and Miller's toughness. They need to do something, but I dont think they need an extreme makeover.
It is time to start anew with the Sacramento Kings franchise.

Age doesn't matter to the Lakers. Besides Kobe, who's exactly a "younster" for the purple and gold?
1. Shaq's skills are in decline.
2. Malone is 40.
3. Payton is a geezer, Fox is washed up, Ho Grant?
4. George and Fisher aren't ever going to take their games to the next level.
5. Luke Walton, Brian Cook, Kareem Rush, and Medvedenko aren't ever going to become stars.
If the Lakers can win it all this year, than the Kings can win it next year. They need to get Keon Clark back and get everybody healthy."He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Re: It is time to start anew with the Sacramento Kings franchise.
Kings really missed Jackson. He has a fearless quality about taking big shots. Not saying he's necessarily the best option for those shots but he's game.
Kings were going to have problems with the Lakers without another big body to eat up fouls against Shaq. Miller was injured and even healthy, he doesn't seem to be much of a defensive player.
They could use a shotblocker, someone like Ratliff. Easier said then done, of course, if they want to keep all that offensive talent.Comment

Re: It is time to start anew with the Sacramento Kings franchise.
Give them all their guys healthy and you'll hear some noise from Sacramento next season. This team doesn't need to rebuild or get a new coach, just healthy players. Maybe add 1 or 2 quality free-agents/subs and their team-depth will be like 2-3 years ago.

Re: It is time to start anew with the Sacramento Kings franchise.
Every year we have to hear some excuse from Sac fans. They couldn't win it healthy 3 years ago. They got a better Defensive center with Brad Miller and still didnt win it. It's just time for them to get some tough, reliable ballers instead of pretty boys and jump shooters.Favorite Teams:
CFB: Ohio State Buckeyes
NFL: San Francisco 49ers
NBA: Los Angeles Lakers
MLB: San Francisco GiantsComment

Re: It is time to start anew with the Sacramento Kings franchise.
I think if Peeler was playing in game 7, instead of Buford (who had a very bad game) we might be seeing Sac in the west finals, and this coming from a Wolves fan. The Kings are just unlucky. I think a few Peeler 3s would have given the Kings the win. They had no bench with Buffy Buford
