Oh for sure...but that's neither here nor there.

This is about T-Mac. He came to Orlando in the first place because Hill (and they thought Duncan) were heading there. Well, Duncan is fine where he's at and Hill is done. T-Mac needs to step up. If he doesn't want to that's fine...but he's gonna want MAX money on his next deal and shouldn't get it with that attitude. If he wants to ride Shaq or Tim's coattails, he better be ready to take less money.

He's a young guy. His attitude needs work sure. He has done his part in ORL, but the management has bothched trades and picks time after time, which is how you guys got Big Ben. He can get good pay in SA, but Shaq won't take a paycut for anyone. He just wants out of a bad situation, which can you blame him? Shaq did it, and it seems he's about to also.

I don't blame him at all. Hell, there are pretty loud rumors of the Pistons being interested in working out a trade. I just hope he doesn't start crying when the money isn't there. You get what you ask for.

I'm sure the money thing isn't as big an issue. If you were as dissatisfied with your job because your boss kept making things worse for you, you'd at least consider other options too. The Stones could use a guy like him though.

I think picking up McGrady would be a mistake for the Pistons. Rip is the perfect fit in their system. I think if they can hold onto Rasheed and manage to get rid of some of the dead weight in the middle (Campbell). They will be much better off. Trading for TMAC won't solve their problems (which right now doesn't appear that they have any).

I agree with what you are saying and the deal would have to pretty sweet. However, what T-Mac does bring that the Pistons don't have is someone that can create their own shot. Chauncey can do against smaller PGs and Sheed can do it when he wants to. But noone at the 2 or 3 really can...and that's where you need it.
