So it would be about the money for you? Cause a player could get hurt in that World Cup too. Not to mention that it wouldn't make any sense considering they'd basically be doing the same thing by taking another league's players for a national team cause they won't be able to make enough teams with JUST NBA players, no?

Beal, Wall, and millsap were cut. I honestly thought Korver would be in the first round of cuts, but ok

This injury is a chance for him to say "told you so" because he's been saying this about international play for a while.

ahh, figured it had something to do with pgs injury. Well if cuban was going to pick a time to open his mouth about this, now i suppose is the time for him to do it. I know hes been ranting about them for a while now I just never knew what about in particular.

Those three cuts were obvious to me. Korver making it wouldn't surprise me one bit. He is a great fit on a National team. With PG going out I would say that increases Korver's chances even more. I think Klay is now a lock.

I agree with everything you said here, i think klay is gonna play what was supposed to be pg's role. I do have to say i that i thought lillard might go over wall, and i think parsons might go, but after that its kind of a toss up imo. Unless of course your name is durant, rose, or davis

Curry and Rose is the perfect combo for the point guard position, even though I would like to see Rose stay at home and not risk injury. Irving and Lillard can handle the duties just fine.

The rest of the roster I agree with

DeRozan is for sure going to get cut and I think they should cut Plumlee but apparently the coach has a hard on for him (not surprising). I would take all 4 bigs in Davis, Faried, Cousins and Drummond. Hayward and Parsons are redundant so only need one of them.

                    Should have been imo
                    Rose, Curry, Wall
                    Harden, Klay
                    Durant, Hayward, Korver
                    Davis, Faried
                    Cousins, Drummond

Cousins should be a no brainer with a potential spain matchup for the gold.

With the remaining players IMO they couldn't go wrong with any combination of players.

I would think they'd prefer shooters more than anything so that's probably why Wall got cut. Even if he was chosen I wouldn't have argued.

Yeah it's not a big deal. As long as Plumlee doesn't get chosen over Cousins. Because there is no excuse for that other than K being an biased turd picking his guy.

That's my only fear with the selections, it seems like they got a hard on for Plumlee. He's a nice player but really he shouldn't make it unless one of the other bigs gets hurt.

I could see Plumlee making it actually. Just because all they really need from that spot is hustle and some gritty defense. But he definitely shouldn't make the team over Cousins. But over Faried, I would be fine with that.

I think Rose and Kyrie will be the guards, with Curry also making the team and perhaps playing off ball quite a bit.

wall didnt make it because you NEED to be able to shoot to make this team if you are on the perimeter.

same reason Derozan wont make it.

if plumlee makes it at all im going to no longer consider K a great coach. Ill lose all respect for him, especially if its over cousins.

as far as the guard spots go, id rather see beal than irving or lillard, neither of whom can guard their own shadow but w/e, coach K obviously playing favorites if that plumlee thing is true lol

Beal was very expendable though and he doesn't play the same position as Irving nor Lilliard.

Beal was going to have a tough time making it over Harden and Klay
