Headlines: Weak Eastern Conf. leads to Pistons Win!!!
Honestly I am not exactly a Laker fan, I attend LSU and I live in Baton Rouge, and I like Shaq, because of the LSU ties. I am also sort of a late fan to the game of Basketball. I was around for Jordan's reign. I also like Kobe because despite what some people believe Kobe's play on the court at times reminds me of Jordan. I am not saying he is the next best thing just that he reminds me of him at times, more than any other player in the league. Now with all that said. I must give props to the Pistons they beat the Lakers, was not even close. But the Pistons also made their way through a weak conf. un injured, the lakers played two teams back to back who many believed could and might win it all this year. So enter the Lakers banged up and tired from three very intense series and the Pistons who played though a weakened eastern bracket and the Pistons win. Not an excuse just the facts on what happened.Tags: None -

So what? Obviously you are trying to say that the pistons didn't deserve to win or you wouldn't have started this thread.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

I'd expect this from someone from Batawwwwwn Rouuuuuuge. C'mon man...last time I checked Sam Cassell an NBA ALL STAR was injured for Minnesota. Whats your excuse there? Get the heck outta here, with this junk.
Just so you know the Bucks, Nets, and Pacers, all put up a tougher fight than your Lakers did agaisnt Detroit. Bottom line is the Lakers got beat loose balls, they got beat to getting rebounds and they got beat in nearly every other aspect of this series.
What would you have said if the Lakers had won???Comment

Re: Headlines: Weak Eastern Conf. leads to Pistons Win!!!
The Pistons faced the best PG in the game, Jason Kidd.
The Pistons faced one of the best blossoming stars AND the Defensive Player of the Year AND the best record-wise team in the NBA.
Rasheed Wallace was hobbled through the first three rounds.
Don't try to say these weren't excuses you made, because they were. The Pistons broke the Lakers down in every way imaginable. Shaquille O'Neal had NEVER been held below 25 points in a Finals game. It happened twice in this series. Just move on, the Lakers were destroyed.Comment
