If the Lakers had won this series and Ben Wallace had been hurt in the second game everyone would say that is why and you know whay I would agree. I thought up this idea because I am a huge college football fan and I believe this happens a lot in CFB. Teams make their way through a weak conf and easily win bowl games because they are healthy and only had to play hard for one game. Now i am not saying this is the exact same thing, but in my opinion it is close. Look I dont mind that the pistons won, I like Ben wallace a lot and Prince, Rip too. Now one thing I dont like is that they fired rick carlisle too early after he did a great job with that team.

Re: Headlines: Weak Eastern Conf. leads to Pistons Win!!!
Fisher said it best in the post game interview. Win graciously and lose graciously. "They were the better team this year. They wanted it more. Not taking anything away from our guys because we wanted it to, they just carried that over to the physical end." No excuses. None. Thats because they have none. They were handed. They were outplayed and outcoached in every game minus the last minute and OT of game 2. As LSU people you should know D wins championships. Oh how quickly people forget.S.O.S Crew

This isn't college football. The lakers had 5 games to show that they were the better team and they weren't. Every team has to go through injuries. SHaq and kobe weren't injured so they shouldn't have had a huge problem.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

It would've been different. Lakers got Shaq and Kobe. Detroit doesn't have a superstar to keep it going.Comment
