Adding to this... Shaq during the finals seemed disconnected. Kobe's working his butt off to try to score, then everyone blames it on him, when shaq is looking like he'd rather be doing a commercial for radio shack

Kobe wasn't working his butt off trying to score. He decided to take DET's D as a personal challenge and failed miserably, on top of not passing the ball to any of his teammates, nor was he trying to get them involved.

I agree about Shaq's rebounding D4K. He should average way more than that period anyhow, not just the finals.

People don't seem to understand that Shaq is not nearly as effective as he seems when the team is behind, because of his lackadaisacal defensive effort. Contrary to popular belief, nobody attempts more shots than Shaq (I count attempts in the act of shooting as shots). So When shaq misses 10 free throws, you are losing points everytime Shaq gets fouled. In addition to the fact that he can't run the floor or play help defense, Shaq can at times be a gigantic pain in the [censored]. And in terms of being dominant, he only wants to do that on the offensive end now, defense doesn't seem to matter. And its a shame that he only "wants" to do it some of the time.
