In my opinion, Houston needs to do this deal if they can. Ming is the best player on the team, and I believe Cutty Mobs is better than Stevie, or atleast I'd rather have Cutty.

A TMac/Ming Dynasty would be the deadly combination. If only they could think of a way to keep Cutty.

It sounds like a good deal. However,if Francis is traded who's going to play the point guard? Moochie Norris was traded to the Knicks early this year, Mark Jackson's days as a starter are over with, and Mike Wilks the only other point guard that they have is unproven. As for free agency, the only point guards that I know of that will be out there are Jamal Crawford from Chicago, and Keyon Dooling from the Clippers. I don't think the Rockets will have enough money under the cap to sign Crawford, and Dooling hasn't shown much to me to become a starting point guard.

There have been rumblings about a Eric Piatkowski for Kevin Ollie trade with Cleveland via Charlotte. In any event, the Rockets would HAVE to get a PG if they traded Stevie.

Houston could draft a rookie PG -- a rookie PG > Francis at PG.
