26 points, 17 rebounds, 9 blocks, 3 steals and 2 assists for Anthony Davis. No turnovers either. The scariest thing about that is that he had a pretty meh game overall offensively. Never got his shot going.

The Pelicans traded for Asik so Davis could move to his more natural 4 spot. Besides I think Cousins is already a better center than Howard and proved it last year.

Nahh, we saw real Dwight in the playoffs, and it trumped anything Cousins did all season. At both ends

Damn! What a game and what a way to open the season. Not really mad at this loss at all. The Mavs had their moments and most of the game these teams were deadlocked but San Antonio just made a few more plays. Thought the Mavs got a pretty damn good look there at the end.
