The entire case has been bungled from the jump. How do you continually release confidential documents to the media "by mistake"? It's pretty sad that all we've heard is she did this and that, but it still has nothing to do with what happened in that room.

You've seen the court totally ignoring specific laws, allowing the defense to call out her name in the open although under a gag order, and for the life of me I cant see why common sense doesnt play into this to just let the trial go on to get the story from both sides out.


Sure they've taken it to fully destroying all of her credibility but it has nothing to do with what happened in that room. It's like they're asking all of the wrong questions. Why will they not take Kobe's lies into account? The tape, the people he squealed on, which I'm still trying to figure out why he would name other players names when he slept with the girl, and noone else was there.

Folks are still looking at Kobe in public as this clean guy when we all know he isn't but its overlooked because of who he is. I had a guy at my job tell me he could care less if he raped her or not, he just wants him free so he can see him play.


The judge and the court should move the case simply because they've mishandeled information from a one sided standpoint.

That's a completely separate issue.

However, if you don't see the flaws in the justice system, then the system should easily find that, as you so tactfully put it, she is a slut that loves the beef. You're saying it's so clear that she was asking for it in his room, that there is no way she will win the civil suit. Then there is no victim, right?

Women going to athletes rooms and getting it on is not an entirely new concept. It has been going on for years. She knew what he was going to be looking for inside the room. If she did not know this, she is an idiot. Did she think he just wanted to talk over some milk and cookies?

odds are? this isn't vegas, we're not betting on a game. Plus I don't buy that her history really matters. Sure, she let herself get into a situation she probably shouldn't be in, but in my mind a woman has the right to say no whenever she wants. Maybe she's very sexually active, but didn't feel comfortable in that one situation with Kobe. She should be able to say no at any point and have the guy stop. At least that's my opinion

Whether or not she was raped in Colorado once....she was certainly raped by the court system and the media. I don't care if her history would make Jenna Jamison say "Damn!" She has rights to be protected. That court was sloppy! It was bush league! And it violated everything that the US Justice System is supposed to protect in order to make more young women who are the victims of violent crime (whether she was or not) come forward.

There is an imbalance in this country. Prosecuters vs. Hollywood Defense Attorneys is akin to the Globetrotters vs. The Washington Generals. Look at this case! Look at the Scott Peterson case! Hell...the Juice is loose!!! Civil cases are the only thing left (see OJ). But, money means nothing to these people.

Lady Justice is Blind....but she's a dumb bitch sometimes too!

The defense can't make anything up(that will be allowed in court) unless they have evidence to back it up. Yea, the court was sloppy in the fact that WE know of some of the evidence. But the jury was going to find out about it anyway. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that the defense is behind the leaks. I say good for them. They're paid the big bucks to convince as many people as possible that their client is innocent. Innoncent until proven guilty is a bunch of bull. Kobe was guilty until he proved his innocence. Slander doesn't mean a damn thing in court if you can't back it up. In this case, the defense can.

I find it funny that the prosecution, who's been crying all along about the fact that the defense is spewing out as much info as possible, goes on TV and tries to tell their client's side of the "story". Then when the judge issues a gag order, they launch an attack against him.

From the beginning, it has been the prosecution who's made this case public, with that first TV press conference by Mark Hulbert. You say you will treat this like any other case, than stay off the TV set. Election is such a dirty word. And how about that boat-load of "rape victim" money the girl is getting. I wonder if the chick raped in the alley by a guy in a ski mask gets 25Gs.

Personally, I don't care how many sex partners she had before Kobe Bryant. There is much more relevant evidence now, and it's far from SMEAR. That is, unless they happen to drop some of that sticky stuff on her thighs without her knowledge. EVIDENCE TAMPERING. CASE DISMISSED.

BTW, if you've read some of the transcripts.....read a little further and see where the "alledge victim" says she doesn't remember saying "NO" or not. HA, keep in mind, Ms. *****, you're under oath.
