$27M for that 5th year for LaMarcus to stay in Portland?

That's going to be really tough to beat out.

    I think he stays.

Jesus I thought we were done with this. They do this every season and yes eventually he will leave for the NBA but only in the right situation and he's not that stupid to go to that God awful muck they call the Sacramento kings.

Not all of those teams have Kendrick Perkins on them, though.

Aldridge is 30... He's going to the Spurs. They can make a great run as soon as next season.

Caliapari isn't doing jack **** in the NBA.

Unless the NBA gives him the top pick for 5 straight years or something, to replicate his recruiting advantage.

Look up his previous NBA coaching tenure.

I don't see this happening. He was offered everything by Cleveland last year and turned it down. Why would you go to that dumpster fire? Now if you excuse me I'll be heading to my nearest church to pray that he stays forever.

He might not do jack ****, but it's not because of his lack of success 15 years ago. It would have more to do with that garbage franchise.

He's a different coach then he was then. While I still believe he would be mediocre in the NBA he actually teaches pretty good defense now. he's still a below average X's and O's coach but he's one of the best player managers and communicates the best with his players among any coach out Theron professional sports. I just think in the NBA you have to have at least some X's and O's and a good offensive game plan and I don't think calapari has that, his talent he recruits usually shields those flaws.

I actually think Calipari's ability to coach to different personalities would make him a pretty good NBA coach. The recruiting obviously gives him a big advantage in college, but his actual ability as a coach is underrated, and I hate the guy.

Too bad Sacramento was so looking forward to a decade of first round exits.

                                Some FA's available this offseason:
