Apparently his decision could come tomorrow after Knicks meeting. I wonder who was even at that meeting seeing how Ujiri AND Casey were meeting with Carroll when he signed. Aldridge meeting was around evening time I believe(late afternoon in LA).

Would be nice if Aldridge really does want to stay together with Matthews, use that as extra bargaining chip. Promise him that he'd get to play together with Matthews in Toronto. That's one thing someone like Spurs won't be able to promise him.

One suggestion I heard though...what if Raptors do just go over the luxury cap this year? Spend around 90M or so and pay the tax, and when the cap goes up next year, they'd be under the cap, won't be repeat offenders, and if they are in danger of doing so,then just trade away whoever they need to. Maybe even frontload a contract or two slightly to give future seasons even more flexibility once cap goes up. Cause anyone who is above the tax this year, surely won't be next year, meaning no repeat offender taxes.

Sacramento can clear cap space, but Kings are starting to understand: They'll have to overpay to bring players into that chaotic situation.

Philly slaughtered Sacramento in that trade. Get a good young player in Stauskus and able to swap picks a couple years down the line when the Kings will likely be near the #1 pick for cap space?

"D'Alessandro left the Kings for a front-office job with the Denver Nuggets two weeks ago. Around the draft, several front-office executives and player agents expressed frustration about dealing with Divac on instances involving the trading and drafting of players. Divac is largely unfamiliar with the collective bargaining and salary-cap rules, causing him to struggle with grasping the machinations of negotiating and completing deals."

Not sure if this was brought up but Steph Curry is now the 6th highest paid player on the Warriors...lol. I mean his contract made sense at the time given his ankles, but it's rather amusing now...

I'd love to see a huge graphic of what assets Hinkie started with and what he's turned them into.

Why are teams trying so hard to sign a PG that can't shot and is on a massive decline and a guy coming off a crippling injury? This is why the Kings are the Kings and have the worst owner in sports.

Yeah, Asik has been a real bust with New Orleans so far. He doesn't look nearly as mobile as he did in Chicago and Houston. Plus, he and "The 'Brow" don't actual mesh that well on the court.

Lakers were "somewhat underwhelming" in presentation with DeAndre Jordan, sources. DJ felt Lakers had been on "whirlwind" last 24 hours.

Lakers/Jordan meeting may have been hurt by its late start. Both sides seemed tired after a long day, per sources briefed on the meeting.
