Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
In one-two years though, no more Pop or Duncan and who knows about Parker, he's not young either. I like Kawhi but I'm not convinced you can build around him. Suns on the other hand are extremely young everywhere and have the medical staff to prolong his career (SA has their reduced minutes methods too though).
Plus, going to a place where you are the top dog, with the ability to make a run and define a franchise era... vs going into a defined situation, helping bigger (albeit older) stars make a couple of last runs at rings to further their legacies.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Me, my boss & the CFO of our company went out there in June for a meeting a few years ago. We planned on flying in that morning, and flying out the next day. We got there about 9 am and our meeting was over just after lunch. I was actually looking forward to going out that night. However, it was 109 that day and the CFO was like "**** this **** it's too hot" so we flew back home that afternoon. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
****, when Bledsoe or Knight turn into to Steph Curry then maybe I'll be intrigued.
Aldridge played with the best P-N-R guard in the league, overrated or not that's Lillards biggest strength. It's no surprise that LA's best seasons came with Lillard. He fits his style perfectly, just as Tony Parker would.
I don't see that Phoenix making it out of the first round in year one honestly, where San Antonio would be my preseason title favorite. That's a massive gap IMO, don't know why LA would pass that up.
If Aldridge wants patience Phoenix could eventually get there, depending how good Len can become. By again, as others have said, it's the same situation he was already in.

Plus like others have stated, he'd be going into a similar situation he just left in Portland if he were to go to Phoenix. Whereas if he goes to SA, that team is favored from the beginning. Not to mention, there's much more stability there than there would be in Phoenix.
If it's really coming down to Phoenix and San Antonio, looking at both of them objectively and taking everything into consideration, it's a no brainer that you take the Spurs.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
This should be a message to LMA what level he ISN'T at yet. Last year and the 2010 year nothing happened at all, like not one agreement even with dudes nobody cared about happened until Bron, Wade, Bosh, Melo, etc. made their decisions, then FA kicked off with moves out the ***. Day 1 this year, flurry of moves all day while this dude is trying to ego stroke like he in that LeBron group lol.Comment

Or you could also say that it's helping them make a smoother transition to him when Duncan retires. Pop ain't gonna go nowhere if he has a Finals MVP and a rising star in Leonard and one of the 2-3 best PFs on his team in Aldridge.

Aldridge is, as Yahoo! reported, meeting a second time with the Lakers this afternoon, & will be meeting with Pat Riley in L.A., per source.
I don't understand EITHER of these meetings, especially with Pat ****ing Riley. Riley just gonna unload Wade and/or Bosh just like that? This is why I roll my eyes at people who give **** to players for not being loyal to a franchise.Comment
