Jordan liked what he heard from Doc and team, I'm told. Didn't want to drag this out but he's genuinely undecided. No timetable on decision.

LA and Pat Riley still dining together? Man, I hope if the Lakers don't pull it off he goes to the East to the Heat. I would have to go with Miami as finally some competition to possibly knock off Cleveland in the East barring injuries.

A call is just a call... but heard the Lakers did call Rajon Rondo today to touch base.

That stuff is so overrated. He should thank CP3 for this max salary he's about to get.

There are good values out there. And some RFAs.

I hope the Knicks go after Kostas Koufa.

The Clippers and Mavericks are the favorites to land Jordan but I'm told the Lakers and Knicks haven't been ruled out.

Heat interested in Lou Williams but might have to be S&T with Raptors to get him.

They don't really have any picks they can trade, so it'd have to be a player.

Though they don't really got any players of interest I see them moving. Unless they'd deal Whiteside which is obviously unlikely.

They can't trade back to back years 1st rounders, but can they give option to swap 1st rounders? Maybe that could just be the S&T with Lou? Heat get Lou and Raptors get option to swap 1st rounder with Heat in 2017 or something?

They'd probably go after him if they can't get Barea.

I think Chalmers would be the odd man out.

I guess Chalmers could fit on the team,he is a defensive PG which is what Casey wants(though Raptors did just draft a defensive PG, who is more than likely gonna be making the NBA roster, especially given his age). But if he was on Raptors team,he'd only be getting maybe 20 mins a game...doubt he'd be happy with that,so he prob wouldn't fit on the team.

Or could even just use him as trade bait or something. Get him from Heat, then deal him for another need that they have.

Monta isn't a great playmaker, but he's pretty solid for a SG, well the past few years anyways. Not a Harden, young Manu level, but that next tier type.

If he's asked to be a big playmaker he would likely struggle, but if he's just asked to be a playmaker at the same level Lance was I think he's fine.

Wow didn't realized that Aron Baynes agreed with the Pistons on a 3yr, $20 million deal.

Crazy to think that Curry will only be earning only just $5 million more than him next season.

I get that the cap is going to spike up in a few years but I have this nasty feeling that some deals are going to come back and bite a few teams down the track. I mean a 3yr $20 million would essentially translate to around $13 million with the cap jump but IMO, that's still overpaid ...

As @daldridgetnt just tweeted, Wes Matthews has officially given a verbal commitment to the Mavs after turning Sacramento down

Wes Matthews has agreed in principle with the Mavericks on a four-year deal, per source. Turned down huge offer from Sacramento.

                              David Aldridge

Uh no a 3 yr 20 million deal with the cap jump would translate to basically 3 yr 12-14 million if the jump is as big as expected. You increase the cap the amount coming out for holds will be smaller. Hence why teams are throwing out so much cash because with the rise pretty much everyone even the ones in cap hell will have max free agent slots.
