All he's doing is meeting with the Knicks and that's it for today...Surely the meeting hasn't gone on for that long has it? Or maybe Knicks locked him in until he signs lol.

Maybe he is signing with Spurs then, but they're just working out the specifics to make sure they'd have enough room to get him and everythnig.

So Thompson and Cavs haven't finalized agreement yet but they're not far apart. Draymond Green's contract apparently has stalled the process (market value I guess).

Ed Davis is a nice pickup

So was Afflalo at that price

Ed Davis will sign a three-year, $20 million deal with Portland, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Shut up! You already went from Robinson to Duncan. You've missed the playoffs ONE time since 1989 and that one time got you Tim Duncan. You've had your run and it was great. Time to be mediocre again and give someone else a chance.

Good pickup for Portland but now the Lakers need to either re-sign Jordan Hill or have absolutely no size inside. They could go after Kostas Koufos or someone like that.

You can't sign a max 5-year contract with a veteran extension. I'm sure Jordan wanted that option. At most you can only sign 4 more years and that includes the current season you're playing. So Jordan would have been locked up for only 3 more years if he signed during the season.

Plus like 23 said, he probably wanted to test free agency.

Amar'e Stoudemire drawing interest from several teams including the Suns. If we miss out on Aldridge, seeing Amar'e return would almost make up for it. Easily my most favorite Sun of all time.

Well, when Duncan/Gino/Parker are all gone in a few years they aren't going to be THAT good, regardless of whether they get LA. Especially in the West. They had a great run tho, for sure.
