NYK are having a decent offseason, they should at the very least compete for the 8th seed.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I don't think there's a chance. We went into this offseason with by far the least talented roster in the NBA, even compared to the Lakers.
I like our additions but they're all role players. Having Afflalo as your #2 option on offense is gross. No depth at all in our front court, having either O'Quinn or D. Williams starting at PF is a serious problem (I don't think Taps will be contributing next year).
Galloway
Afflalo
Melo
Williams
R. Lopez
Calderon
J. Grant
Taps
O'Quinn
Early
And whoever else I'm missing off the top of my head. That's definitely not a playoff team, even in the East."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Kyle O'Quinn at $4M for some cash and swapping 2nd rounders? Nice.
We may not have "talent" but this is a well-balanced roster.
Would like to get a defensive-minded wing on the cheap.

Exactly, I don't know why dudes in here keep saying we need to continue to tank to keep our 1st round pick, when Hilbert won't move the needle either way. He's just a upgrade over the other trash we have.Horseshoes & HollyWoodComment
