Man you weren't kidding about downplaying SA here. You keep talking about after Duncan retires like the Spurs are just going to turn into trash as soon as he takes the jersey off. Yes, even when he's gone and should Pop take off, I would bet a pretty nice sum that Pop is still going to be consulting for them or do SOMETHING behind the scenes that we may not know about and between the two of these franchises, one has shown over the last 20+ years that they can consistently build that team. Yes, they've had Duncan, but if you're LMA making this decision, why would you not see them building the future of the team around yourself and Kawhi after that? With those two as the anchors of the roster, I like that organization's chances of building a powerhouse more than I'd trust Sarver's sorry *** from year to year.

But anyway, got me over here defending the Spurs case when in reality, it's **** Two Four's 20 years worth of steak and lobster dinners every night while the rest of us been scrapping together meals from the dollar menu.

Shhh don't mention the Suns' owner by name, pretty sure that is forbidden. **** that guy. Obviously I'd trust the Spurs more too but I'm not convinced Leonard is a guy you build around. LA and Leonard would be good, but good enough to win a title? I'm not sure. They'll have to replace Parker too. While highly unlikely, there's always a chance that SA could go Chicago route of complete **** once their dynasty player/coach retired. This league just changes so much year after year, as pretty much no one saw GS winning the title this year. I'm just saying coming to SA just because Pop/Duncan/Parker are there isn't a wise decision to SOLELY decide on or be the major factor since they will be gone soon.

It really shouldn't be this hard. I mean I get the meetings and entertaining all parties but if multiple teams can offer you a max, at this point, you would think you would just look at who is the best player available to play with on the rosters interested.

          Kawhi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Everyone else.

That and the fact that hypothetically lets say Duncan and Ginobili come back for one more season, San Antonio is going to have an absolute *** load of cap space in 2016 and two of the Top 5-10 players at their respective positions should LA sign. Should be a no brainer, but yeah.

Thomas Robinson is nearing a deal with the Brooklyn Nets, according to league sources. Trying to find out the terms.

Beyond Blazers, only contender for Aldridge that he's clear about organization, about role for him: Spurs. Everyone else, still questions.

Some players would rather not share the spotlight. They think they can build greatness on their own, and would rather try being the top dog and fail, instead of assimilating into a Borg ship like San Antonio. I mean, if it was just about winning, he should stay in Portland and not even consider Phoenix/LAL/NYK etc.

Yeah i was gonna say this. San antonios system would undoubtedly cause aldridges numbers to drop some. He may not want that, especially cuz some fans like to relate a drop in stats to a drop in ability(tho thats not the case). Aldridge may want want numbers and winning games so hes considering other options. Of course this is just speculation.

Hopefully T - Rob can stick in Brooklyn, but why go there when Thaddeus Young is clearly the starter?

It's going to be funny watching teams scramble to fill roster spots after jettisoning players away to clear cap space.

Once LA and DJ sign, Roy Hibbert's name will be trending on Twitter
