I have no idea why Aldridge would give the Lakers a second look. I guess if I'm Mitch I'd have to give it a second try at LA.

As time goes by the Lakers are looking worst off than we were last year.

What in the @ell are going to pitch this man on? Only thing I can think of is to tell him The team is his, D. Jordan is going to join you or we trade for Cousins. In a year Kobe's gone and you and D.Jordan are the face of the team.

If not this...then I don't see no way in $ell we even wasting our time while good free agents are slipping bye.

Hey Suns fans, what can you tell me about the players the Suns traded to the Pistons? Same for Spurs fans and Aron Baynes.

So 1 year deal pretty much seals things for Wade and Miami next year right? Since I doubt they give him a truckload of money with the new money next year.

Only other thing we can say is we have money to get him help. I would talk up the hard work clarkson and randle have put in to be instant contributors, and if he can wait we would be in position to land durant. Other than throwing hopeful scenarios his way(and hoping the thunder suck next year)we dont have much.

Every team is in a position to land Durant...the cap is going up by like 20-30 million which is a max contract. Also why would Durant go play with Jordan Clarkson and LA over Wall and Beal?

@BobbyMarks42: Strong message from Miami Heat ownership that they are willing pay the repeater tax this year. Right now looking at a $36m tax bill.

Thays why i said it was a hope, we dont really have a reason to land durant, unless aldridge is here, and even then its slim. Our only saving grace is durant has spent his last 3 offseasons here and him and kobe have supposedly been getting along.

Yeah it's starting to look bad for the Lakers management. It's to the point they could make a move out of panic when they should just sit back and see how our young talent develop.

                        Replacement for Plumlee.

We were actually about to pick him up on waivers after the deadline but the Sixers put a claim on him and won his rights on virtue of a worst record.

And Jimmer? Oh nah, I'm good on him.

The Big Banger is a rugged, mechanical, rebounding 5 that can sprinkle in some offense here and there. He isn't much of a defensive presence but is a hard worker and is tough as nails. Will give y'all good minutes behind Drummond and can start in a pinch. He does lack good conditioning, he gets winded quickly, and won't block a ton of shots.

I actually like Robinson, he's a good backup. I'm still wondering why Brooklyn gave Young 50 mil though. Like cmon, if we're going to a mediocre team might as well set us up with cap space
Am I trolling? Am I serious? Did Dennis Green and the Cardinals really "let them off the hook"? What about the children? Find out next week

Doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense to me. Soooooo they'll pay the tax for this team, but when faced with keeping LeBron appeased no deal on the tax?
