Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Of course, there's nothing stopping Jordan from deciding tonight if his mind is made up but I'm told tomorrow is more likely.
There you go.
Also he tweeted this right after that.

Justin Bieber will not be part of the Clippers' pitch to DeAndre Jordan.

I figured it was a joke just felt the need to post it. Because I feel like it's something the Lakers would try.Comment

A rotation of Duncan, Aldridge and West is just unfair ...
Interesting the Wizards are considered since I view the Pacers having a close chance as them in terms of winning a chip.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Lakers front office has 2 more years including this upcoming season to get the team to the Western Conference Finals or the NBA Finals:
She explained the circumstances surrounding that timeline.
"Well, I asked my brother, how long until we're back into contention? And when I say 'contention,' that means past the second round, so either the Western Conference Finals or the NBA Finals," she said. "And he told me that it would take three years to rebuild it. So we've just finished Year 1 of that three-year [plan]. So we have two more years until he feels that we'll be back into going past the second round in the playoffs."
Jeanie Buss reiterated that a three-year rebuilding timeline is still in place and that if the Lakers don't reach their goals by then, her brother Jim will step down from his post.
Didn't know Jeannie was her brother's boss. If she had that kind of power, why did she let Phil leave the team?Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Hah, just heard guys on NBA TV talking about how Monta Ellis is gonna need to be more of a facilitator in Indiana. Oh man, I needed a good laugh. Dude's gonna dribble, take shots and get his. He'll lose you as many games as he'll win you.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Oh boy this narrative again. The chances that championship team repeats are extremely low considering the amazing run they had to get there in the first place. And even if they did reach the Finals they would be facing a much superior Heat team to the team they beat in 2011. Cuban made a tough decision and it didn't work out but if he would have kept the gang together I think its unlikely the Mavs would even be in the position they are in now.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Another rather tired narrative. Monta is far from the chucker he's made out to be. Yes, he's going to take his shots, but to try and paint him as some kind of JR Smith or Nick Young equivalent is rather disingenuous.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
