It's a shame Portland is getting nothing in return for Matthews, Aldridge, and Ro-Lo.

Would've been funny & crazy had they traded their entire core (minus Lillard) last season for a big time player.

It seems that at this time, the Laker's best sales-pitch is that in two years Jimmy Buss will be gone.

Maybe he'll bring Steve Blake and Andrew Bynum back; that should be enough to get the Lakers to the Conference finals at the least.

Oh boy this narrative again. The chances that championship team repeats are extremely low considering the amazing run they had to get there in the first place. And even if they did reach the Finals they would be facing a much superior Heat team to the team they beat in 2011. Cuban made a tough decision and it didn't work out but if he would have kept the gang together I think its unlikely the Mavs would even be in the position they are in now.

And what position would that be? He wasted whatever what left of Dirk's prime. I like Cuban but he thinks he is the smartest guy on the room by default and got too cute by half. Just bring back the team and let them defend the Title and if they fail then go ahead and rebuilt/reload.

He has been chasing a ghost and now he only has a Mummy.
