Idk, I really don't think he's very good. Good numbers bad team guy. Every time I watch him play nothing stands out. Below average defense, inconsistent shot, shaky handles, not much playmaking, averaging attacking. Takes lots of iffy shots.

Man, Vlade is one awesome dude. He has bestowed the greatest team of all time on us with the possibility of a Josh Smith inclusion to cap it off! Bargnani, Rondo, J-Smoove, Cousins, coached by George Karl.....What a team, what a lovely team!Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Embiid missing ANOTHER season?! Has that ever happened before, where a player taken in top 5,missed the entire first 2(or more) seasons of his career due to injury? I know it's happened before with the Celtics pick(but that's much diff situation since he died) along time ago, but don't really know of any other time. Even Oden played in his second season.Comment

Situations like this - and Yao Ming, Greg Oden, Bill Walton, Sam Bowie - are why I appreciate guys like Duncan, Olujawon, O'Neal, Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain, Garnett, Karl Malone, etc. cause they somehow manage to withstand the pounding of playing in the NBA for 15+ years. And they do so playing at a reasonably high level for a majority of the time

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I hadn't heard of him before that year at Kansas. But to be fair I don't follow recruiting. And he was the #6 recruit behind Wiggins, Parker, Aaron Gordon, Andrew Harrison and Julius Randle in ESPN's top 100. He probably would have been a late first or second round pick and went to the Spurs and then he would have played across the pond until Duncan retired.Last edited by redsox4evur; 07-12-2015, 01:58 PM.Comment
