Sacramento is going to be the most glorious train wreck of all time and I can't wait to watch it happen.

Like I said, they need to stream of all their practices. Won't be long before Rondo and Cousins are fighting.

Idk, I really don't think he's very good. Good numbers bad team guy. Every time I watch him play nothing stands out. Below average defense, inconsistent shot, shaky handles, not much playmaking, averaging attacking. Takes lots of iffy shots.

Man, Vlade is one awesome dude. He has bestowed the greatest team of all time on us with the possibility of a Josh Smith inclusion to cap it off! Bargnani, Rondo, J-Smoove, Cousins, coached by George Karl.....What a team, what a lovely team!

So they gonna wait until the last possible minute to make a decision huh? That's all anybody needs to know about how they feel paying that money. I'm sure KD is paying close attention.

Embiid missing ANOTHER season?! Has that ever happened before, where a player taken in top 5,missed the entire first 2(or more) seasons of his career due to injury? I know it's happened before with the Celtics pick(but that's much diff situation since he died) along time ago, but don't really know of any other time. Even Oden played in his second season.

Embiid's (IMO) career is ruined before it even starts, unfortunately. Big men rarely comeback 100% from that type of injury. And losing two full seasons is going to ruin his strength, conditioning and is going to stunt his development a lot.

Situations like this - and Yao Ming, Greg Oden, Bill Walton, Sam Bowie - are why I appreciate guys like Duncan, Olujawon, O'Neal, Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain, Garnett, Karl Malone, etc. cause they somehow manage to withstand the pounding of playing in the NBA for 15+ years. And they do so playing at a reasonably high level for a majority of the time

I remember seeing him injure his back when he was at Kansas.

When did he injure his foot?

Imagine if he was able to enter the NBA directly from high school.

Having to play in college may rob him of tens of millions of dollars.

He was ranked in the twenties coming from high school and wouldn't have been picked most likely. Him going to Kansas was the reason he was a top draft pick.

Good point. To be fair, was he that big of a prospect before that one year in Kansas?

I hadn't heard of him before that year at Kansas. But to be fair I don't follow recruiting. And he was the #6 recruit behind Wiggins, Parker, Aaron Gordon, Andrew Harrison and Julius Randle in ESPN's top 100. He probably would have been a late first or second round pick and went to the Spurs and then he would have played across the pond until Duncan retired.

But they both went to Kentucky, so everything will be fine, guys.
