Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Just because they take the money doesn't mean they should be ok to be surrounded by complete scrubs like the Knicks or the Lakers were.
My only issue with Kobe taking that contract is that he said he was all about winning. His contract isn't the reason he was playing with the likes of Bob Sacre, Ronnie Price and Wesley ****ing johnson.Last edited by Vni; 07-10-2015, 09:59 PM.Comment

2015 Offseason Thread
If it's this, then it's just about every player that's signed a huge contract with their original team. Especially the players who are top 5 at their position playing on teams that are stuck in the lottery or just now getting out of it.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 07-10-2015, 10:09 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Who in their right mind REALLY thought Wade was leaving Miami? Just like Kobe was really going to leave the Lakers? It's just like the league using Seattle to get what they want out of these cities. They have no intention of going back to Seattle or Vegas more than likely, but let's keep bringing them up whenever we want something. Meanwhile Melo's boy Stephen A is the one with the story on Melo being pissed?Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
So D-Will has to clear waivers before he can sign in Dallas. How pissed do you think he and Cuban would be if a team claimed him off waivers before he ever made it to Dallas?Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Don't think anyone would even consider it, knowing he'd demand a release right then and there from that team if he doesn't get his way. But really, how many top playoff teams even need a PG right now? Don't see anyone else real good thinking of getting him at all, even if he'd play for them.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Marcus Morris obviously upset that Suns traded him(and split him up from his brother).
Someone needs to step in and take his brother in a deal since Suns supposedly trying to deal him also. Then see if they can ship him off to Detroit(since I doubt Phoenix will trade with Pistons anytime soon since they just did a multi player deal)..Comment

And the other reporter who put out the story was Isola. You basically couldn't pick less reputable sources lol
Do you have any of Chris Broussard's thoughts on the story? That might clear this up lol, give me a breakLast edited by DieHardYankee26; 07-10-2015, 11:33 PM.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Is that supposed to reinforce its truth? The Stephen A who reported last year that Melo had no interest in returning to the Knicks as a free agent?

I'd certainly believe what Stephen A is saying before I listen to Mr "My Heart Never Wavered New York" even though it took him 5 days after contracts could officially be signed to put his name in ink for the Knicks once he realized he couldn't get all his money AND get to Chicago. But yeah, we'll just listen to Melo and roll with it. Give me a break.Comment

Stephen A is in tight with Melo, Bron and that crew. So I'm more likely to take his word on something coming out of that crew than some of the other stuff he says because unlike Broussard, he is actually liked by those guys.

Yeah...we're good. I hope when you guys when a chip you'll finally forgive Melo for forsaking your Bulls. That salt is overwhelming.Last edited by DieHardYankee26; 07-10-2015, 11:55 PM.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
