still its nice to see him actually look to try, plus its a slap to the lakers when he does well. it should be interesting if he can get down to about i would say 320 to 310. He could then be in mvp form and i don't think a 28, 12 would be out of the question especially in the east
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I, as a Laker fan, hope Shaq can keep up a weight around 315-320. That would be really special for the league (if he stays clear from injuries). I'll just wait to see if he can keep this up, becase Shaq is known to lose weight to prove a point, but then blimp back up in the future.

I also agree about how he went about this whole thing. It's great that he's getting in shape, but I don't see why he does it just to prove a point to another organization. As an athlete, he should stay committed at all times.

It's sad that a guy who is a competitor lets himself get fat and has surgery before a season to avoid working hard. Magic didn't go out like this, Jordan didn't, Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Bird, all of the greats stayed in superior condition until they hung the shoes up. Shaq has shown that he needs a kick in the pants to put the double whoppers down. It looks like Buss was on to something, and probably added years to Shaq's life by giving him the wakeup call.

This is disrespectful to every Laker fan and Laker management. He never got his fat *** into shape the last few years and that's why we didn't win more titles.

But I believe, and hope, that he won't be able to reverse all the negative effects of his years being out of shape. I don't expect him to have more than 2 more good years at the most.

There is no excuse for a professional athlete not being in shape. Espically when you make 30 million dollars!

If Shaq can stay healthy this season, you very well could pencil in Pitons vs Heat in the East Championship.
UL's QB Lamar Jackson, yeah that kid is good!!!
