It's not that he sucks as a player. the olympics are about team play. he was probably used to denver and always wanted the ball. Play as a team, win as a team. His 2nd team never DID crap out there though.

It was always iverson,duncan, and the whole first team that always got them back into the game, for the most part.

Actually, the 2nd team was the team that gave them the lead for the most part. But Melo wasn't even a part of the 2nd team. When Lebron, Iverson, Duncan/Boozer, Marion/Odom, Wade were in, is when the team was it's best. That team was the one who always put the points up, and shut down the other team defensively.

But this is showing what a classy guy Carmelo Anthony is.

how is he angry for him answering the question they asked him. everybody heard lb ripping him basicly. Every one heard iverson saying the exact opposite of what lb said. He enjoyed his teamates and supported them and there play he didnt make any excuse like brown and he said he felt everybody gave there all to the team. he said these men played hard and practice hard. they gave up there summer to do this nobody half assed it.

Carmello gets ripped yet he didnt go looking for the press they came looking for him. And besides anybody young or old would be bummed about giving up there summer to sit on the bench rather your carmello jordan me or you. you want to be part of the team.

I know how he feels man i do. played high school football and started de but we got a new coach i had summer schools so i didnt do none mandatory weight lifting with him. He benched me didnt start or play much for the whole year until senior day. i started at right side dt this game first play of game i had a sack second s stuff in the middle both solo. next play an assist tacle down the left sideline. next assist in the back field the fifth was a sweep left blew through the line hit the qb but he had it off i ran down the rb and had another solo tackle played another play which was a bad pass. then i sat the bench the rest of the game. upset i feel him period that isnt being a brat that is a true player who wants to help a team
