    I'm glad that Matthews is still coming because you can always use a young 3 and D player. I just hope that he can recover fully. That was a serious injury.

                Yea those Hakeem Rockets teams were great. I was glad to see them win the title.

                    Hakeem was great, those teams were kinda mehh.. They definitely peaked at the right time, especially with Jordan out.

                            1st off cuban ain't tanking. despite what he said the man loves to compete and that is with a roster of dirk, parsons & mathews your more likely to see dallas try to add 2 more solid veteran players at pg/c....in fact it has already begun with dwill attempting a buyout to join the mavs. does that sound like a team looking to tank or trade dirk?

                            dwill would give them a solid lineup 1-4 and if im cuban i'd take a flyer on either larry sanders or javelle mcgee and see if one them stick similiar to the way they helped turn brandon wright into serviceable rotation player after his
                            career had gone south.

                                Looks like they will add Deron Williams.

                                They will have a nice team that can compete for 8th...but probably finish 10th or lower.

                                And lose their draft pick.

                                        hes 28...you're right, young was probably the wrong word but he does bring the mavs' average age down..

                                                    This makes the most sense to me however,if Dirk was traded somehow or what ever OKC would be the best place.I can truly see him there.
