At this point Deng has a lot of wear and tear. Last year I think he only played about 32 mpg.

I remember someone here saying the lakers need a veteran who can start right away but eventually come off the bench . This is that guy.

Yeah, I'm hoping that's the case. Ingram & Randle can learn a lot from Deng. So that's a positive.

Just have to see how much he has left or it can be another Metta World Peace signing. Where he was great the first year & then fell off a cliff each subsequent year after.

Deng is a really nice signing. Good mentor for Ingram.

I think it doesn't really matter who starts and who doesn't. Ingram/Randle/Deng are gonna share the 3,4 spot minutes. I doubt anyone in this team is gonna average more than 30 a game.

I get that, but we have no clue what the details of his contract are.

Loved Lu Deng and sad to see him go. He will be a great example for the Laker kids.

The way these deals are going I don't see anyway the Heat can sign Wade for under 18- 20 mil.
Looks like they will be bringing back the same squad minus Deng, Joe Johnson, and possibly Tyler Johnson. [emoji19]

Riles is going to have to work some magic to fill out this roster.

Deng is like 9mil under the old cap. Really good signing as far as I'am concerned. Lakers are rebuilding and they've tryed to surround the young guys with veteran presence to help them grow. They did what they could. Nick young could have been our veteran presence and Hibbert our center. They upgraded both position while not compromising the youth growth. Add to that the walton signing that's a solid off season for L.A. especially for a team that won 17 games.

Teams actually had them in the last CBA. I think most teams might've used them by now if they haven't.

Sources on @TheVertical: Boston and Washington have emerged as frontrunners to sign All-Star forward Al Horford.

Yep. I think he should go to Boston. That team would be solid.

I would say top 4 team in the East at worst (barring health).
