Sources: Hawks aren't ruling out possibility that they could bring back Al Horford. If he decides to stay, ATL has ways to unload salary.
    They might do this thing...

Shoutout to my guy, Kent Bazemore! Coming out of Old Dominion, going undrafted, and now the dude is making some serious money. Just a few years ago he couldn't get any minutes (mostly because Mark Jackson is dumb) and was traded for Steve Blake's old ***. It's been nice to watch his path to success. Really happy for him.

I can't see that happening though.

But hey..someone was stupid enough to take Joe Johnson's salary off their hands so ATL has experience in this.

Yeah but to do that wouldn't they be trading Millsap? Seems like a longshot.

After what he's gone through, I don't think I'd say one word if a team wanted to be stupid enough to give him that kind of money. Amazing he's still in the league.

With the new cap, a team like Dallas or the Lakers, I could easily see doing it. Tiago Splitter was also mentioned as a guy that could be moved. We'll see. I love this time of year.

Did something happen to Millsap? Why would a team NOT want to pay him $20 million?

Seems like only a short time ago that the Lakers refused to sign him for 1 million dollars.

Man I ain't gonna say nothing about an unmovable contract every again. Every contract that's been "unmovable" in the league has gotten moved. Didn't think anybody would be dumb enough to trade for Arenas' deal, someone did. Didn't think someone would be dumb enough to trade for Rashard Lewis' deal, someone did.....TWICE. Didn't think Joe Johnson could be moved, it happened. Didn't think Derrick Rose could be moved, it's happened. Ain't no deal untouchable in these NBA streets.

Hawks would need to unload just under $11 million in salary to have enough room to retain Al Horford (at $94.4M cap)
Meaning ATL could basically unload Splitter and Sefalosha and keep Millsap if that is an idea...

Honestly, I don't understand the point in trading Millsap to sign Horford. I feel like Millsap is the better player and would be far cheaper.

Say Horford picks the Wizards..not liking the front court of Horford and Gortat...but being a wizards fan not many folks come here so I probably don't have to worry about that lineup
