Dedmon in SAS is a good move. Pop will get a lot out of him.

Latest news/rumor was that he was leaning towards retirement.

        And go....

Meh, he'll probably say so this weekend. Nobody really knows except the Spurs

          Whiteside staying with his commitment...dammit.

Then again, maybe the best case is him taking the money and not caring anymore.

I completely agree and disagree with this post. I'm 100% with you that players should do whatever they feel is best for their careers.

Where I disagree is that Wade made all these "sacrifices" along the way. Wade made choices. He chose to play with his friends to try and build a dynasty. He chose to play with the best player in the world. That choice has probably extended his career and overall fame / off court earnings greatly. He now chose to move on from a place where he is a living legend because of pride, money, or whatever reason he felt was important.

                D. Wade's has and continues to do what he felt was best for himself and Riley's job is to do what's best for the Heat. Unfortunately after 13 great years those were 2 different paths. There doesn't have to be a bad guy.

So what's the plan Heat fans? Where do you go from here?

Is the plan to tank? You gave up a bunch of your future picks to Phoenix going for Dragic. He took a pay cut so you could pay D Wade. You didn't.

Whiteside is in for the long haul. Is he your cornerstone? Do you guys think you can bring in a max free agent next offseason? Has that ever happened without D Wade?the money The Rat wouldn't give to D Wade, what was that money for and what is it for now?

Riley didn't care... posting pics of him crying, it's apparent dude was ready to move on one way or the other.

Guy's been in the league a long long time, and has a handful of rings.

It is sad but Paul Pierce moved on, and ended up back home too.

I'm starting to see people having a hard time dealing with the fact that the NBA is changing again and they don't like it.

BTW, I think the projected cap for next season went down about 4-5 million. Not as high as originally thought.

Miami needs to try and go for dion waiters to be there new SG and try and get westbrook somehow lol. Poor bosh as well. No more Bron or Wade. Wonder if he can play next season and if so if he asks for a trade and if a team would take him.

You're right. They're playing 2K with that team.

I also can't see why the team would trade Rose to help Butler become the man, only to then sign a player that will, though shouldn't, demand the ball more often.

I feel as if Wade will curtail Butler's progression.

Marc Stein: Detroit is signing Spurs restricted free agent Boban Marjanovic to a three-year, $21 million offer sheet, according to league sources

Weird that Detroit would spend cap space two off-seasons in a row on back-up Spurs big men. That is a good value deal, but not sure if Pop and R.C. will match with other team needs (back up PF, better 3rd/4th swingman and PG).

Wow, a center with athleticism and a little muscle to his game. I would have taken Miles Plumlee to fill that need, but Dedmon is good enough.

I have little doubt we can. Before Wade and Lebron and Bosh there was Zo and Timmy.

I have fond memories of that 96/97 team that Riley was able to put together. Riley never rebuilds. He re-loads. And a 34 going on 35 Wade was not bringing in anymore big name free agents into the fold. Lebron left because Wade was out of gas....no one talks about that anymore. Lebron screwed over Wade by not telling him he was leaving. Loyalty Bwaahahahaa. Otherwise he never opts out of that massive pay day. Wades BFF screwed him out of a lot of money. But Wade is a grown man....he made his choices. He is a celebrated sports icon down here. All the best to him.

Anyway the Heat will reload. I have little doubt we can have another good competitive team in the next year or 2. Whiteside will hopefully develop more (hope and pray on that), Winslow will be growing more. Richardson has nice potential. And Dragic is a solid PG despite what some others around here may think. Now it is his team. I think he can have a very good year this upcoming season. Everything though is centered around the health and availability of Chris Bosh. If he plays a full season this can be a team that can squeak into the post season as a 7 or 8th seed in the East and they can compete. If his career is over we will be heading for the lottery this upcoming season. And that would not be a bad thing if we get a top 7 (protected) so if there is a year to have a top pick...this would be it.

Should be interesting to see. And BTW the seething envy and hate of NY Knicks fan's towards our team is hilarious. Loved our rivalry in the late 90's that was fun and gut wrenching. I have a very close friend who still calls Riles, "Pat The Rat". Did it again this morning LOL.

                              Have fun with D.Rose sucka's!!!
