re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
So should we be starting the Von Wafer watch? I'm guessing it's definitely about the money despite what he's saying. Or maybe he actually does just want to play in the league again.
A former NBA player and Florida State University product who last played in the league in 2012 has recently expressed his desire for a comeback. Von Wafer has not given up on his NBA dream just yet. The second round draftee by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2005 has played a total of seven seasons. He bounced around the league […]Comment

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Usually when someone says it "isn't" about the money, that's exactly what it's about. That and Von Wafer has been out of the league for some time now and is trying to come back now talking about his legacy is on the line as if he was some all-timer or high draft pick that had all these expectations on him that he didn't live up to. Just not buying that him itching to get back in the league now is solely about just wanting to play basketball.Comment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
I don't want to say he seems unstable...but why would you go on Twitter professing your want to make a comeback like GM's are scouring their timeline for possible free agents to sign? Wouldn't you just get an agent, and have them make calls to see if anyone's interested? He's on Twitter talking like someone's going to respond "Come down to the Staples Center"Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Meh, I guess.
If he says he good on money, I don't have a reason to not take him at his word. In this day and age of Internet and social media everyone LOVES being in other people's business, especially when it comes to finances, we'd know by now if he was struggling or broke by now.
And I'm sure he's let his agent know he wants back in. Don't necessarily think it means he's unstable asking for a job or another opportunity on Twitter.
Idk maybe I'm just oversimplifying the whole thing.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 07-28-2016, 09:55 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
I thought that David west signing was great for the spurs but that Lee signing is really great. I think David Lee fits the spurs so much better though. Great mid range shooter. Good in the post. Lee fits better than west too imo. Better Passer and more reliable defending the perimeter and little quicker.
