    Re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread

Apart from the Finals rematch, this years X-Mas games are kind of "meh".

It doesn't have the same buzz as previous years for some reason.

D Rose and Noah first game back in Chicago. **** writes itself, the hell were they thinking? Meanwhile the Lakers yet again on Christmas. Should have gave that spot to Portland or somebody.

The return game takes place November 4th, it's a Friday. I checked and both games have an off day the day before so they should be fresh. Serious question: do you think they took into account that D-Rose and/or Noah might not make it to Christmas?

Yeah I saw they blew that matchup very early on. Probably gonna spring for tickets to that one.

But yeah I hadn't thought of that. Could very well be what they were thinking of in that scenario.

Surprised you're not making any noise about that dry *** slate of Christmas games outside of Cleveland and Golden State.

Knicks got 22 games on National TV, BTW.

Who knew trying to relive the past could get you that many. I guess I should know since we got the same number after trying to relive 2007 by trading for the washed version of the Celtics' Big 2 back in 2013.

Like I said, at least they tossed in Minnesota. I'll even accept Boston. All those other teams not named Cleveland, Golden State.....no sir.

LAC travel to Boston on SB Sunday in what should be Paul Pierce's final game at TD Garden.

OKC/Minnesota could actually be a solid game for Christmas day. If the Knicks are healthy come Christmas that will be a good game. Bulls/Spurs should be good, not sure why that's a Christmas matchup though. Lakers are really the only team that shouldn't be on Christmas day this year

Would have liked to see Utah get a look instead of LAL. I guess that LAL national following is too deep to take off Christmas Day.
